(Y/n) is returning to her home town of Hawkins Indiana after 5 long years.
She's exited for her first day but she happens to meet the school freak

*knock knock* "Go away" *KNOCK KNOCK* "I said go away" "Y/n it's almost 7:30 you need to wake up" a sweet voice called from the other side of the door "5 more minutes" y/n complained before pulling the sheets over her head and attempting to fall back asleep "That's it" the sweet voice sounded not so sweet anymore before barging in the room and snatching the sheets off the bed "Get up, get dressed, and get ready I'll be back in 15 minutes and so help me god if you're not out of that bed I'll drag you to school looking just like that" "Fine I'm up" y/n said rubbing her eyes trying to adjust to the light "Good now get dressed" the woman stormed out of the room as her wild red mane swung mback and forth behind her

Y/n began to rummage through her closet and drawers before throwing on dark black jeans a black crop top and a flannel for what she likes to call "character"

She made her way to the bathroom brushing her teeth and hair throwing it into a low bun and tugging the sides out Y/n was never much for makeup but today she threw on some mascara lipgloss and blush before winking at herself in the mirror She made her way to the living room where she found the same woman who barged in her room this morning sitting on the couch crisscross with a large bowl of fruit loops in her lap Y/n went to the kitchen grabbed the pop tart box to find that it was empty "I guess I'll starve" she said rolling her eyes "Here go to the grocery store after school" the woman on the couch said before handing y/n a $20 bill "Oh and don't forget more fruit loops" the woman adds taking a big bite of her cereal "Alright I'll see you later Aunt Becky" y/n said before leaning over and kissing the woman on the cheek "Later kiddo have a good first day back" the woman replied Y/n made her way to her car tossed her bag into the passenger seat and drove out of the trailer park Y/n's POV ——————————————————————— I made my way into the student parking lot while jamming to one of my favorite songs : enter sandman by Metallica. I parked my car and looked at my watch that read "7:44" today was the day I had been dreading coming back to Hawkins was exciting I missed this place but the people not so much I made my way into the building and immediately felt eyes "Is that y/n Martinez" I heard a voice whisper "Hey it's the crazy girl" another noted I quickly scurried to my locker reading the combination off a slip of paper I was given a few days ago I placed my items inside when I felt a tap on my shoulder I turned around to be greeted by no other then Steve "the hair" Harrington he hadn't changed at all
