(Y/n) is returning to her home town of Hawkins Indiana after 5 long years.
She's exited for her first day but she happens to meet the school freak

"Will this be all for you" the man at the cash register asks before bagging my last item "Yes sir thank you" I say smiling at him before collecting my groceries and leaving the store The whole ride home all I could think about was the mystery boy his stupid hair his chunky rings his cheesy goofy dumb smile I pounded on the steering wheel as I became overwhelmed with my thoughts I can't understand why the whole thing infuriated me so much
Yeah so what he used me I don't even know him
You pulled up to your trailer grabbed the groceries and went inside
"There she is! Tell me everything" aunt Becky exclaimed hopping off the couch and grabbing the groceries from my arms She was still in her pajamas from this morning and seemed to be watching soap operas
"Well it was nice I guess" you say forcing a smile
"Nice ? That's it" she says anticipating you to tell her more
"Okay fine sit down" you say before grabbing a tub of ice cream kicking off your shoes and plopping down on the couch Aunt Becky plopped beside you and took a bite of the icecream "Alright lay it on me" she says turning to face you You began to tell her every last detail of your day from the whispers in the hall to seeing the mystery boy with Chrissy at your spot "So this mystery boy, is he cute?" She says winking at you "You must have missed the part where he's a total dick" you say slapping her arm
Aunt Becky had been your best friend for Aslong as you can remember your mother passed away giving birth to you and your father was deadbeat so since the day you were born aunt Becky was your built in mother though she never acted like a mom she was the closest you were ever going to get and you were fine with that
"Well are you going to give him the homework" aunt Becky ask waving her spoon in the air
"I have to we had a deal" you say before shoveling another bite into your mouth
"Hopefully we do our exchanges and never speak to one another again" you add
"Okay so let me get this straight you're going through all this trouble just for some bud and a name" aunt Becky says with a confused look
"I don't even care about his name anymore I just need to smoke" I laugh
"You better share" aunt Becky smiles
We both start to laugh and finish our girl talk
Shortly after you make your way to the bathroom and turn on the hot water and undressed yourself your turn around to look at your new tattoo seeing that it was still healing it was and assortment of bats traveling down your shoulder blade it was your first tattoo and god was it painful

You began to step into the shower feeling the hot water rush over you an instant feeling of relaxation took you over

"Well she's all super popular now of course she wouldn't remember a freak" Gareth says taking a drag from his cigarette
"I mean did you seriously think a cheerleader would spend her days reminiscing about a town pariah " Jeff says motioning his hands towards me
"What the hell are you talking about" I say completely confused on where this went south
"You and Chrissy Cunningham dipshit" Jeff says furrowing his brows
"God your are dull I'm talking about y/n" I say placing my palm on my forehead in aggravation
"What about y/n?" Jeff questions "You know what forget it" I say pushing myself off of my van and heading into the school
"Whatever" Jeff mumbles before trailing behind me ———————————————————————— I finishing putting on a tshirt and some sweats before looking at the clock which now reads "7:30"
I began to rummage through my bag and pull out the paper the mystery boy gave me
I groan before setting it down on my table and working on it math was my best subject I had a way with numbers so the homework did not take me long to complete I looked back over my work checking each problem before I heard loud music coming from outside my trailer
I jumped out of my chair and walked over to see the mystery boy jumping out of a run down van and running up the steps of the trailer across the street
Then I saw her stupid little green cheer uniform walk around from the from of the van
This is just perfect I thought to myself
Maybe they will finish their hookup in 10 minutes I think looking at the clock that now reads "7:50"
"Looks like your boyfriend is home" aunt Becky notes standing in the doorway of my bedroom
"In his dreams" I say before sliding my shoes on
"See that girl out there with him" I say pointing to the window
"You mean the one that just went in his house" she says looking back at me
"Yep, that's her the Chrissy Cunningham" I say sarcastically
"That's her ?" Aunt Becky questions with a serious look
"That's her" you say in a aggravated tone before grabbing the homework off your table and heading out the room
"She's got nothing on you, your a total and babe and she's totally lame" aunt Becky laughs following you out the room
"Well this babe has some business she has to handle" you smile throwing on your jacket and making your way outside
"Good luck" aunt Becky smiled before shutting the door behind you
Well here goes nothing you thought to yourself as you crossed the street and entered the mystery boys yard
You made your way up the steps of his trailer and closely listened making sure your weren't going to interrupt something when you knocked
You didn't here much so you took a deep breath and banged on the door
