When Laxy told Dustin about her experience, he was both surprised and confused. "How could you see Eddie? He is dead."

"Well, I didn't see him directly, but from your description I thought it was him and he was alive."

Elena opened her mouth. "Laxy, do you think there's a chance he survived?"

"To be honest, I think there is a chance. But if that's the case, we need to get him out of there as soon as possible."

"Laxy, he died in my arms," Dustin insisted.

The blonde glared at him. "Did you check his pulse when this happened? He could have just passed out from a lot of blood loss."

"That's crazy," the boy grabbed his head and pursed his lips.

"How are you going to try to connect with him, huh?" Elena asked her, placing a hand on her shoulder.

"I can try to enter the Upside Down through the dream," Laxy said, a chill running through her body.

"You can't go there alone," Dustin tried to stop her. "What if Vecna sees you?"ň

"Friend, I'm not afraid of him. Believe me, I've met more threatening creatures and entities than him."

"But how do you get Eddie to see you?" Elena didn't understand.

"Maybe it won't be possible for him to see me for the first time, but I can leave him a letter there, for example."

Dustin immediately grabbed a pen and paper. ,,I will write!"

I don't know if this letter makes sense since we don't know the truth, but Eddie if you are out there please try to contact us somehow. I miss you, freak.

,,That is all? If so, I need a quiet place and darkness," Laxy said, looking around.

"Come to my room," Dustin said, drawing the curtains.

Elena hugged Laxy. "I'm worried about you."

"Don't worry, if you see something and it feels wrong, wake me up."

Laxy grabbed her pentagram pendant and closed her eyes as she lay down on Dustin's bed. In her another hand, she was holding the letter. She fell asleep in a few minutes.

She was standing on a high rock with a ladder leading down. The storm still didn't pass and it was raining. As she climbed down, she saw something she couldn't believe. Eddie was standing by a tree, carving something into its bark. As she moved closer, she found that Eddie couldn't see her. She looked at what he had carved into the bark. "Eddie won't give up, bastards!" She smiled. She examined the metalhead  from top to bottom, and despite the dirt and blood, he was still very nice and stylish. She really liked the rings he had on his hand.

Eddie suddenly felt like someone was standing next to him, although he couldn't see anyone, he just saw a letter floating in the air as it hit the ground. Laxy dropped him as there was no point in waiting for him to see her.

He took it in his hand and began to read. He shivered and jumped like a flea. "Dustin?!" He smiled like a madman and kissed the letter. "How does that little freak know I'm alive?"
Laxy was happy to see him smile. He shone like the sun. She wished he could know about her but there was no chance for now.

"How is that possible?!" Eddie cried, holding the letter in his hand. "I need to find something to write back. But how do I send it to Dustin?"

Laxy smiled softly again. She didn't tell anyone that she put a pen in her pocket before going to bed. She reached into her pocket and threw the pen into the sand.

Eddie pointed out. "What the hell is this?!"

Laxy tried to talk to him, but she didn't know if it made sense. But she tried. "Eddie, write what you want and I'll take it to Dustin."

Eddie heard a gentle female voice and was startled. "Where are you and who are you?!"
This time, Laxy stood quiet.

He was still nervous, but he picked up the pen from the ground and walked away. He started writing. When he had finished, he put the letter on the ground and said, "You can take it to him, stranger."

Laxy grabbed the letter and looked for the last time at his pretty face. She climbed the ladder to the rock again and closed her eyes. She took a deep breath and woke up at that moment.

Dustin jumped up. ,,So what?!"

"I saw him. I gave him a letter and I succeeded. He heard me."

Dustin began to read Eddie's response."Hello, Dustin! I don't know how it is possible that you know this and who was it with me, but I confirm that I am alive. I miss you too. With love, Eddie."

"This is unbelievable! Wow!" Elena stood in shock and put her hand to her mouth.

"How did he look? Is it too bad?" Dustin asked.

"Of course he was dirty and covered in blood, but guys, he's a good looking guy," Laxy smiled and shrugged.

"Screw me, you're head over heels in love," Elena poked her and stuck out her tongue. ,,Laxyyyy!"

,,No, what?! I am not, I just said he looks cool," she blushed and made some angry face.

"If he saw you, I think he'd like you too," Dustin spoke, making a monkey face.

"Can you stop?!"

"You're really cool Laxy, you have incredible skills and I still can't believe it," Dustin smiled and fell into Laxy's arms. "Thanks to you, I won't go to sleep with a broken heart anymore because I know my Eddie is alive."

Seeing how moved Dustin was, Laxy hugged him tightly. "Dustin Henderson, I'm not surprised Eddie likes you so much."

Elena saw a Polaroid camera on Dustin's nightstand. "I'll take a picture of you, you two teddy bears."

Dustin bared his jagged teeth and Laxy stuck out her tongue. "Show us that photo!" But when they saw it, everyone moved away scared. In the photo, there was a scary, vague, dark figure standing behind them.

,,Oh lord, that is Vecna!" Dustin screamed and he threw the photo out the window.
