Son of a Gun

Music has been in the life of young Samir Lee since he could remember. He grew up around the company of legends like UGK, Three 6 Mafia, Slim Thug, etc because his mother was a high profile video vixen. He heard the conversations on music, saw the hard work that went into creating the art, listened and studied the craft, and he even witnessed the toll that lifestyle takes on an artist. Being exposed to this at the tender ages of 5-8, he was highly impressed and wanted to pursue that lifestyle when the time was ready. That time presented itself during his second year of college when he met a classmate by the name of Rich who had a studio and produced beats. The rest is history...

The social scene has always been prominent for Chante Graham. She spent a lot of her time learning social media and building her journalism skills through clubs such as yearbook, student council, and student government. Leading has been in Chante's DNA. When she went off to college, she joined many organizations such as Black Student Union, a sorority and fraternity, her university's ambassador team, etc. Chante is a force to be wrecked with. She recently graduated with a degree in Public Relations. When she presented herself to Samir through social media and constant contact, he was impressed with her pitch and added her to his team to help build his image and brand.

Marketing and music is a passion of Jasiah Pete's. He attended a university to receive his degree in business, but as time went on, he realized life was the biggest teacher. Jasiah then dropped out and grabbed his real estate licensing. He knew that was
an easy career for him right now, but when Samir decides it's time for his career to take off, he'll be ready. Music is something Samir and Jasiah bond over, but that's not what made him and Samir tight knit. These two grew up together, meeting at the ages of 10 and building a bond within. They've experienced so much of life together, and know the other has their backs. Jasiah has one way he believes Samir should be executing himself to make it in this industry and that can cause the two to bump heads. Jasiah's way with words and building an image is what's going to help take Samir to the top. He just needs Samir to see that.

Kamarion Price became close friends with Samir and Jasiah through mutual friends, but built their own connections outside of that. Samir and Kamarion attended college together and began hanging out due to the proximity, but when Samir started getting serious about music, Kamarion thought it was time he did too. Kamarion comes from a family of musical talent that just couldn't seem to make it in the industry, but with the tools and knowledge, he knows how to build himself up and market to an interested buyer. Kamarion taught himself how to DJ and produce beats. Whenever Samir has a show, he's the one who's behind the 1s and 2s.

Juniper Scott is the closest friend of Jasiah, Samir, Chante, and on and off again girlfriend of Kamarion. Jasiah, Samir, and Chante all attended high school together, but Samir and Juniper stayed close due to going to the same college. She's an Instagram influencer and bottle girl who holds the key in helping push Samir to the front lines. Juniper has a high following account across all social media boards, so post with his music playing in the background, screenshots of his music, post of booked shows, and even playing a role in booking those shows is extremely helpful to Samir's career. Juniper has aspirations of being a elementary school teacher, but right now the fast life and helping her friend reach the top is her ultimate goal.
