Pg. 136-In a dream I saw my mother with the love of her life and no children it was the happiest I had ever seen her.
Monday, fifteenth of September.
On the steps outside. To the mother whom I love very much,
Hello mom, It’s nice today. The weather is nice and warm. I wish you were here right now, Shoto has been warming up to dad even more, Natsuo still won’t budge though. Dad is doing a lot better..I wish you were here by my side, mom.
I’ve been thinking a lot recently and I can’t help but think about how happy you were before us. All of us. Dad, Shoto, Natsuo, Toya..and me. I had a dream, mom, I saw you with the man you said you loved before Dad. I saw you and him walking around the park, I saw you laughing and to be honest it’s the happiest you’ve ever been. I saw you having a good time outside, you were wearing something wonderful. You were young and beautiful, no stress wrinkles and that distant look you’ve always had was gone. You looked..Happy. I just can’t help but wonder, were you happier before us?
