Chapter Six: A Surprise Visit

Its quite hard knowing that my sister killed someone. I know she couldn't control it but it still seems strange. I walk through the forest, but I'm not alone, i hear footsteps,breath's,voices. I try to ignore it and keep on going. I turned a corner and saw one of the girls. She was one of the girls that had been bullied when Monique got onto Aprils social media accounts. She stared at me. I was a bit confused. I sniffed the air and got a sense of anger, hatred, sadness. She pulled something out her pocket, a gun. She pointed it at me. " Your sister really hurt me, everyday i see you guys walking down here, laughing, i did that with my friend, but because of your sister she's gone and now I'm going to kill you, so your sister feels the pain i did" she said tremble in her voice. She turned the safety off. I stood there, i couldn't move. I was confused. In seconds she shot the gun. Everything felt like it was going in slow motion. The bullet, the wind everything, but not me. I catch the bullet just as it was about to hit my head. The girls face lit up shocked, scared. She just saw the impossible.

She ran. I chased after her so she couldn't get away. I couldn't just let her get away i needed to do something, she just tried to kill me. I see her running as fast as she could, it was definitely not enough,i catch up to her in milliseconds, my speed had gotten faster, faster than i think it should have. She screams as i get in front of her. But she pulls out a knife. Geez sees really keen on killing me isn't she. She swings it around, she seems trained. I catch her wrist, but she kicks me down. I feel punch after punch, kick after kick. Wait i can beat this little bitch in an instant. I try to push her off me but something in my back is stinging. I let out a loud scream. "You're, you're a, werewolf" the girl said. I push her off me and pin her down. "Your a hunter?" i say imagining the worst. She screams but i shut her up. She keeps hitting me with wolfs bane. She stands up "ha got you now you beast" she turns her head and gets thrown to the ground.

A panther comes jumping out of the forest and lands onto of her. Demetre. The the girl got up and ran, she got onto the road but ran right into a police officer. I got up. "D-Demetre why are you here, never mind come and give me a hug" i say.

Demetre's family and my family where friends. Early last year though. We where the best of friends. But April and him where more than friends, way more than friends. After our families found out our secrets my family moved. We never stopped talking until he just randomly stopped.

The panther looked at Nikole and walked up to her, as it was walking it turned into a guy, the same age as her. He had black hair that grew wildly on top of his head, he had a purple shirt and black shorts with black and red converse. He stood and looked at Nikole, the they leaned in and hugged each other. His brown eyes shone in the light and Nikole could see purple in them, she giggled.

"So what are you doing here?" she ask her face all scrunched up.

"Um, my family have been, ki-killing w-" he sighed "werewolves"

Nikoles face went pale.

"And theres one around here" he said pointing to her.

Nikole was scared, she didn't want to leave again.

" Have you gone threw the changing yet" Demetre asked

"Yeah, but only April got full change, only one sibling that is born in the same year changes" she said sadly. He hugged her tightly. "Well you go to Willamburra high right?" he asked, Nikole nodded. "Well I'm coming tomorrow, and i won't tell my parents your here, well of course i wouldn't tell them" he said giggling.
