Chapter Seven: Dzo

I run after him, he's really not wanting to be found. He stops, and i catch up. He sees me and zips ofs around a bend. I follow him. I stop and look down at the base of a tree. A brown wolf with yellow eyes sat in a hollow tree. He curled up into a ball quiet, scared. "You don't need to hide Cory" i put out my hand, "I'm just like you" my eyes turn blue. He sits up and comes out, changing back. He hugs me.

I told him, everything, including Demetre. "Wow" he says crinkling his forehead "i never knew there where so many others,like supernatural creatures" He said still getting used to the truth.  They hugged each other and had to leave.

*_- Saturday-_*

I'm sitting watching tv when my phone rings. I answer it. A man answers me and says "hey April Silverwater?  At Electro club down in East Bay Willamburra we would like you to audition for a gig if your interested, please come down at 12pm for audition thank you". My eyes lit up in excitement.  This was a dream of mine to be able to perform in a club. Electro was a club near by which was for 15+ and she was Seventeen so it was the perfect time to start her real life dream.

The whole time form 8-12 she was deciding what to wear, hair style and what type of tunes she would do. She decided on a white crop top, blue galaxy patterned tights and a red and black checkered top to wear around her waist, she wore her black converse and a purple beanie with the letters D.Z.O she designed herself. Her hair was out in curls and she wore a thin layer of makeup.

The alarm went off and she was so excited. She went with Cory because he needs to get out of the house. Cory's mother was battered and bruised when she arrived at his place. His father had left but would return home like he did nearly each night.

She arrived at the line of about 20 DJ's waiting in line. She was nervous. Her stomach hurt with every step that she got closer to the entrance. One by one people started coming out the door, crying, angry, alright, Upset and someone even through there decks they brought on the ground.

I was scared, i didn't want to end up like the people that where kicked out. I held Cory's hand nervously, he looked at me. "Its ok, you don't need to be nervous, just imagine you are at home and you are alone". I clench my fists as i walk through the doors.I see a stage set up with DJ desks,  a huge dance floor with lights everywhere, VIP sections and a long bar. In the middle of the dance floor was the DJ desk.

I saw a man and a women sitting on chairs facing the DJ desk, they turned around and looked at me, my hands where shaking and i saw them gesture to the desk. I walked over still clenching my fists and keeping my head down. I pull my head phones out of my bag. "Just pretend your at a real party so do everything you would normally do ok" the woman said righting down something on her clipboard.

I looked down and let out a breath. I set everything up an began. The lights went off and the lasers came on. I took a breath in and began. Mixing was fun for me, changing the songs making them drag on into another. I started with The Buzz(Timmy trumpet), Centre of the universe(Axwell) and as the drop came i set off the smoke machines, the lights zoomed around. I looked at the club owners and they didn't have any expressions, as if they where dolls, it was creepy. As the music got louder i felt my heart rising, nerves and worry. The drop fell and everything went berserk, i knew my eyes where gonna hurt when i go outside. The music stopped and they looked down at the clipboards. I kept rubbing my hands together in nervousness. They looked back up at me. "Well done, you really impressed us....April" the woman said. " Quinten tell the rest outside waiting to leave" the man said as a guy in the back moved outside.

I didn't know what was going on but i knew it was going to be some news. " I really loved how you used the use of the smoke machines and lights with the music" the woman said looking at me with a smile. "Yeah, and i loved so much those light blue glowing eye contacts, the glow in the dark ones, yeah they where brilliant" the man said. What-oh, oh right my heart went so far up my eyes glowed haha.
