The Secret

(A/N: I decided to skip a week because I felt like it. Also in this story Ally won't live in a dorm she'll live in a apartment.)

(P.O.V Ally)

The next week was really hard for me.  I was barely eating, sleeping, or leaving the house.  Our manager got some details on what happened from Jack.  He made sure to reach out to me and said if I wasn't comfortable yet I didn't have to show up to practice.  I said thanks and went on with my day.  Normally our manager would be mad if you missed a day but he knew how much Emily meant to me.

What made it worse was I was scrolling through Instagram when I stumbled on a picture of Emily and Jack kissing. With the caption "Can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you❤️" I immediately put my phone down and didn't go back on for two hours.

I was sitting on my bed watching t.v when I heard a sudden knock on the door.  " I'm not expecting a package.". I thought to myself.  I opened the door and found Marissa standing there.  She had a bag of food in her hand and a big smile on her face.  I immediately started smiling too, I wish I could stare at her smile all day.  Wait What! No you can't do that she's your friend.

I invited her in and we sat down on my couch eating.  " Hey I know you probably don't want to hear this but Jack and Emily are dating."  Marissa said trying not to make eye contact with me.  " I know I saw it the other day." I said trying my hardest to sound like I didn't give a fuck when in reality I did.  I know she's my ex but I can't get over the fact the she cheated on me.  We both looked away from each other having nothing else to talk about.

Soon enough we were done with our food and I actually found myself laughing which I haven't done in a while.  Marissa got up to throw our wrappers away.  I decided to grab her arm while she was walking back and pull her down.  She fell right on top of me and we started laughing, soon the laughing died down when we realized how close we are.

We stared into each other's eyes not daring to look away. Until Marissa's eyes fell to lips and mine did the same.  Before anything could happen we heard a knock on the door, Marissa quickly shot up and moved away from me.  Woah what was that?! Would we have kissed? Would I kiss her back?  My thoughts were interrupted when another knock was heard.

I got up from the couch and walked over to the door opening it to find Emily standing there.  " What do you want?" I said obviously annoyed.  " So I guess you heard me and Jack are dating now?". She asked.  I nodded preparing to close the door.  " But we can still be together.". Emily said with a little bit of hope in her voice.  As I was about to say no Marissa came up beside me and put one of her arm's around my waist.  " Hey baby." Marissa said staring at me.  WHAT THE HELL?
