Rolan kept on doing his enraging side at my times at school- and not just that, even at home. I could hear whispers from our neighborhood talking about him coming nonstop to our doorsteps. Few days have gone by and he never, and not even an inch changed. At the very least, he won't annoy me every Fridays. That would make me question. But hey atleast I could have some peace to regain my sanity from his annoyance. No matter how hard I try to get him off, he won't even and I mean I can't even explain how frustratingly difficult his optimism is. Everything that I say which could scare a group of people, he ain't effective. Because of this constant occurance at school, many would be puzzled and ask if we were a couple, even Erica asked plenty of times. Great. Just great. Rolan I swear I will murder you.
Courtney seemed to be fuming with rage at this point. She kept giving me death glares but never really made an attack. Maybe she knew I'd kick her butt and be hummilated throughout highschool. She knows she hates that. Rather than an attack, she chose to observe amd stay silent, which I was keenly aware. Erica warned me a few times about her creepy stalks. How lucky am I to have such a sweet friend. Yes, the hot sun will soon arrive as the climate is changing.
Summer break was just around the corner and I plan go back and visit my old city Taloville. I never came back after Aunt found me. Maybe I could find out more about myself there. Erica will visit her grandmother at the south city, Epoliant and stay there for a week. Aunt Hellena and the two will visit her cousin Fiella in her house at the northern province, Asvironqo. Perfect time to ask her for a stay at my old city. And she agreed. I packed up all of my things to bring, mostly clothes and caught the next bus that afternoon. It took 2 and a half hours to reach Taloville. The city was big but buildings were bigger. I took a room in a small hotel owned by our neighbor, Mr. Ganwon. The breeze was different from Varome. It was bittersweet and heavy. The night was cold, but the moon was glowing bright. Stars clothed the sky and a memory flashed back. It was a child's finger pointing at the sky. I couldn't see the face but my heart was smiling peacefully and happily. I went to bed when he feeling drifted and hopefully get some good sleep.
Dawn's light greeted me as I slowly opened my eyes. Morning just started and yet, the city was already busy. Streets, terminals, cafés and and parks were already filled with people. As expected of the "Golden City". Varome was the "Florescent City", Epoliant was the "Ocean Metropolis" and Asvironqo is the "Skyland Garden". I gazed upon my balcony, caught in a distant that seemed familiar. I don't know. Maybe some warm milk will boost my energy. Inside and out.
I only had a week stay here and after breakfast, my hunt begins. I went through places after places. Anything familiar at all. My aunt said that when she found me, she took me to different stations, hoping to find my parents. An old lady said to check Taloville because I wore a bracelet only made in that city. The jewelry was made of jade and there were these "unique" gold around it. That's when we got to Taloville's office for missing kids. The head officer found no clue of my whereabouts or family. He said I was to be put in an orphanage since I needed a legal guradian but Aunt decided to take me as her own. Atleast that's what she said. I feel that's not all of it. When I got there, vivid memories fill my mind. Voices I kept hearing.
Days went by and I just felt so lost in this city. This was my home but it felt like I don't belong here, that I was some kind of alien. People there are friendly but then again, they knew nothing of my parents nor recognized who I was. And tomorrow is my last day. I found little information of myself though, thanks to police officers. My real name is Elizabeth Kaira Lune, daughter of Erisabeth Quin and Simon Klevin Lune. They went missing for years and my old house was burned down anonimously. Records about themselves were also lost. That was all I found out but I was still searching and I'm giving up. Maybe there's so much more than what was on the record.
The next day, I started packing everything and left for awhile to clear my head. I went to a nearby park and saw all these beautiful lilies on the sidewalk and somehow a memory floods me back to a strange day of the past. I saw cheery little girl with a boy. That girl was me but who was that boy? They were laughing and sitting at the fountain. When they threw two silver coins, they started running towards the meadow. It had hundreds of different flowers. They made crowns out of it. That boy looks so familiar but I can't seem to point it out. I followed them but they disappeared behind some bushes. In search of them, I found an old tree and my intials were carved inside a heart, along with another name. It was "RR". Who is "RR?"
I wish I had time to know but I don't. Time was going by too fast and the next thing I knew, I was already on the bus going back to Varome. I was thinking about that memory at the park. I feel like she was a wholely different person. Much more radiant and galant. Full of life and wide-eyed wonder of the world. I was so lost in thoughts, I just went to my room and didn't come out till dinner. That night, I got some sleep but it felt different. It was too quiet and hollowed. As if the very earth swallowed me, imprisoning me from the truth. My truth.
