Chapter 10: FURY OF A GODDESS

Amanda's POV: At her house

Amanda:"(throwing a tantrum)"
Luke:"Oh come on Amy, stop being childish"
Amanda:"CHILDISH?! That snake took what is mine! (continues on breaking stuff)"
Maid 1:"M'lady, please calm-"
Amanda:"(slaps her) Do NOT! tell me what to do you stupid maid, (pulls her hair) you understand?"
Maid:"(scared) Y-yyes m-ma'am"
Amanda:"Good now GET OUT!!"
Luke:"Get a hold of yourself, he's not even yours"
Amanda:"Okay which side are you on?"
Luke:"(kept quiet)"
Amanda:"Yeah that's what I thought"

(door bursts open)

Mr. Zakinnsen:"Amanda Bernades Zakinnsen! Where are your manners? Is this what your mother and I raised you to be? Where is your sense of dignity!?"
Mrs. Zakinnsen:"Look at our home darling, its a mess, what impudence and infront of your own brother too"
Amanda:"B-but Mother, Father (head down) I did not mean to create a scene nor a disgrace as the eldest daughter. My emotions just got a little out of control"
Mr. Zakinnsen:"Ayayay, emotions again. Can't you find another better excuse. (came close to Amanda and lifts her head up) Amanda my pride and joy, I'll say it time and time again till you plant it in your mind. Remember; emotions are nothing but weakness for enemies to use and it is only then will you bleed and loose. You are the next heiress of the family, you must learn to grow like us. Do understand that"

Amanda:"Ye-yes Father, I'll remember that"
Mr. Zakinnsen:"Now now my princess, what has caused you such pain?"
Amanda:"It's about a-"
Luke:"(grabs her hand) Will you excuse us Father, Mother, I think I forgot something to tell to my sister about a... class project and we need to... act fast so that our classmates could catch up"
Mr. Zakinnsen:"Very well then Son, you two may leave"

(the twins left and close the door)

Mr. Zakinnsen:"(sighs) Kids these days"
Mrs. Zakinnsen:"May I remind you that we also went through that stage too, please be careful with our daughter dear, she has a good heart"
Mr. Zakinnsen:"And a good heart will only  lead to weakness, betrayal and disappointment Iris (leaves the room)"
Mrs. Zakinnsen:"(sharp sigh) You once had that kind of heart Alfred, and it did led you to that path but you only saw the worst in it and failed to perceive the brighter side of your loss (took out a picture)"

~At Amanda's room~

Luke:"What the hell are you thinking? Have you gone mental? If Dad finds out about Elizabeth, he'll kill her!"
Amanda:"And that's what I've been dying to happen!, That moron deserves bloodshed-"
Luke:"(slaps her) How can you be so inhuman Amy. Just because she got what you didn't doesn't mean you could curse her like that. How are you the oldest and yet thinks like an 8 year old?"
Amanda:"Oh I see~ You're jealous, aren't ya?
Luke:"That's not what I meant. Compose yourself Amy and stop this nonsense. If you even think of getting in between them, our family will be the talk of the town. You "know" who Rolan truly is and what he's capable of. So shut that jealousy of yours and keep up with school"
Amanda:"Yo- you...don't understand anything I am feeling right know."
Luke:"I- I"
Amanda:"... Will you please give me some privacy.
Luke:"Okay (walks out)"
Amanda:"Aaannd~ Luke, don't worry I'll leave them be"
Luke:"I do hope you mean that (left the room)"
Amanda:"Oh I sure do, baby brother...but I never said anything about letting them have a happy time in school. You walked into hell yourself... I will make sure your school life will be miserable, Elizabeth Kaira Lune"

~Few days later~

Liz's POV:

Hmm, I never thought dating one of the most popular guys at school could be so... irritating. Not him ofcourse, he's the sweetest but rather to his "fans". They kept going on and on about how we fell inlove, or where did we meet, or where we go on dates, basically everything about our relationship. Like are you for real? He just created a small but admittedly grand performance and literally less than a week, the whole school wanted to be my friends, mostly the girls. I recently found out that Rolan was part of a ranking in their building,

*FYI: Rolan is a college student, and colleges have different buildings than highschools, so he is at a different campus than Liz*

Where they were known as the Stellar B's.
Now I get why. He never said anything about him being that popular. I guess he knew that I don't really give a sh*t about that. I'm glad that this didn't affect Erica and Kat. Those other girls only talk to me because of Rolan, but those two were friends with from the start. I was like a celebrity and it kind of overwhelm me a bit from time to time, not because I should act like a proper (spoiled) girlfriend but because of my private life. Thanks to my bestfriends, I was still able to find peace despite my status cause they sure know how to keep crowds away from me. I was happy that I dated this idiot and my times at home and school were nothing but pure bliss.

Unfortunately, not everyone thinks the same of Rolan and I dating. There were also people who despises us like the number one brats, Amanda and Courtney. They hated the fact that I went from invisible girl to a princess, all beacuse of Rolan's portrait of me that he, most definately, did not forget to hang it on the highschool department's biggest lobby, framed in gold and silver. What the heck?! He even offered me to frame my painting. I said it was okay but not somehwere that would make a big scene, so I put it on a tree in a small field near my classroom. No more did I even bother with them, if they want to be my enemies, so be it. I never told Rolan anything about those two since I can protect and take care of myself.

I wasn't scared of them until one day, I got the shock of a lifetime. Amanda walked up to me, I thought I was going to get insulted again but to my disbelief, she greeted NICELY. When she went away, I froze in my locker, looking completely surprised. Why was she being nice all of a sudden?

At lunch, I noticed Amanda standing in line, waiting for her food like everyone else does. WHAT?! She always pays students to get her lunch. I was shocked as Luke was, sitting in their table with his eyes wide, filled with confusion if this was still her sister. The worst part was that she sat next to me, Erica and Kat and smiled like a little good girl. Courtney could not believe her eyes that Amanda turned nicer. She even gave 5 students free desserts. Wow did she ate something last night or did she bump her head hard. Then ofcourse I knew the reason of this, Rolan. She knew that by getting close to me would mean getting close to him. Hoho and she thought I was dumb enough to not notice her acting skills.

The next few days, Amanda kept being nice to us, invite us on hangouts, which we always decline, and have lunch with us.

Finally on Friday lunch, the 3 of us spoke up. We just can't deal with her anymore. She was so annoying and will not stop talking. Eating with her was always akward that I can't even chew my food comfortable. Its like I can't swallow anything everytime. The 3 of us were always quiet, observing. The atmosphere was so heavy, thank goodness  she left after we talked. When we finished eating and I ran out of there, heading anywhere but the cafeteria with Erica catching up. I bumped into Rolan, who caught me in his arms in time, and his friend Micheal Silderine. Kat eventually came few minutes after.

Rolan:"Luney? What's wrong? Why are you and your friends running crazy?"
Liz:"(panting) One... sec"
Micheal:"Are you being chased by someone?"
Kat:"No, not exactly"
Erica:"More like a creep"
Rolan:"What?! Who is this Luney, did he touch you anywhere-"
Liz:"Calm down Ray, it's more like a she"
Rolan:"What?"
Erica:"It's Amanda"
Micheal:"You mean Luke's twin sister?"
Erica:"The one and only"
Rolan:"What did she do to you? Did she hurt you? I will-"
Liz:"No uhm don't worry, she didn't hurt any of us. It's more like she became nicer? Let's not talk here"
Micheal:"I know a place where we could talk this out"
Kat:"Where?"
