"Hey, gorgeous."

Camryn's eyes were charged with fury, her posture cold and uninviting. I guess she wasn't a big fan of my charming personality. I had no clue why, since I was clearly a blast to be around. That was what everyone else thought, anyway.

"You know I have a boyfriend, right?" She asked, her arms crossed as her keys dangled in her slim, lanky fingers.

"I can't just compliment you?"

"You can't keep obsessing over me."

I grinned. And to think I was supposed to be the one who's full of myself.

"Relax, I just wanted to invite you to my party tomorrow night," I revealed to her. It was an open invitation more or less, but I thought she may have been more inclined to say yes if I'd asked her myself.

Bad move considering the girl seemed to hate my guts.

"That is quite literally the last thing I would ever want to do."

"Do what you want," I told her. "Just making sure you know you're invited."

"That's great." Her voice rang out in sarcasm. "Now can you get off of my car?"

"Hmm..." I tapped my finger to my chin a few times, leaning even more. "Well, now I'm not sure I want to."

She stared blankly.

"This metal is so comfortable—"

"Dude, seriously?" She stomped towards me, stopping just a few inches in front of me. Her hand reached for the collar of my flannel, ripping me away from the driver's side door.

How could she just dude-zone me and then grab me by my collar like that? I knew they weren't mixed signals—her intentions were obvious. Her hand on my shirt meant nothing to her other than being pissed off.

But god did it turn me the fuck on.

"Do me a favor and leave me alone," Camryn said as she opened her car door and climbed inside. My brain was still cluttered with the thought of her hands on my body before I could give her any cool, witty responses.

She drove away instantly and I was standing in the parking lot like an idiot.

"Ivy Mora." A deep voice exposed itself behind me. I turned around to meet eyes with Simon Marshall, the student body president, and a close acquaintance of mine.
