Chapter 2 - Madmax

The car ride to school the next morning were not something the girls had looked towards to, they had to ride whit Billy cause at the moment Olivia didn't have a car

The car ride where quite, Olivia just wanted this day to be over whit she felt a little bit overwhelmed, she didn't have anything against moving her but she still didn't like big changes she just wanted to think about the whole thing to be positive but something inside her told her that this would not be what she expected

When the blue car pulled into the school parking lot the overwhelming feeling Olivia felt begging to get worse she didn't understand why though, she where knew no one expected anything from her and nobody knew her

Billy stepped out of the car whit confidence, Olivia didn't expect anything else from him his ego was big enough for 12 people Olivia on the other hand stepped out of the car and just looked around

Max where about to skate away to the middle school building

"Hey max wait" Olivia said

Max stoped and looked at her sister

"What" she asked

"Have a good day okey and if you need anything just come and find me okey? I will always be her for you okey?" Olivia said the her sister

Max looked at her sister with at smile "are you sure I should be saying this to you? You look like you need a pep talk more then me"

Olivia laughed and her sitter joined her, they shared a hug the max where of to middle school

She turned to Billy she knew he was going to say something

"We don't know each other now okey?" He said

"Yeah I understand, I just have come up with a good reason to why you drove me to school if we don't know each other" Olivia said whit a sarcastic tone

He just looked at her and began to walk away

Olivia looked and saw different people looking at Billy mostly girls, 'guess that he will have some fun while being here then' she thought

When Olivia looked around she saw a brown haired girl and a boy she just assumed that they were together she didn't pay that's much attention to it, her main focus right now was finding her locker and not be late

She got to her first class she still felt a bit overwhelmed but she didn't want to focus on that and at the same time she started to get worried about max even though she know that max would be fine on her own

"Hello you must be Olivia?" the teacher said

Olivia could feel the eyes on her and she didn't like it "yeah that would be me" she said

The thatcher smiled "why don't you introduce yourself to the class"

Olivia didn't like this she wasn't to comfortable speaking in front off to many people "Ehm well I'm Olivia..I-I just moved here from California and yeah that's about it" she knew she could say more but she didn't think it would make a difference were you from and your name seems to be a good start 'it's not like they want to now all about her life story'she thought

She recognized the girl from earlier this morning, she where In get class but she still didn't pay to much attention to it

When class was over she walk out of the room a girls stow there handing out flyers she gave one to Olivia, she took a and muttered a small thanks

She read the flyer, a Halloween party she wasn't a fan of party's but maybe this was a chance to make friends, she kept walking until she collide whit Someone's back

"I am so so sorry" she said when the boy turned around he looked at her she where scared to meet his eyes

"It's fine, your new right?" He asked

She looked at him "Yeah, I'm Olivia"

"I'm Steve, it was nice meeting you" he said walking away

'Well that was awkward' Olivia thought to herself she walked to her locker, her locker where next to a boy named Jonathan she had talked to him a little bit this morning he had helped her find her class and things liked that

"Hey" he said to her when she got to her locker

"Hi" she said back

He saw her holding the flyer "are you going to the party"

"I don't know, party's aren't really my scene, you?" she said with a laugh

He laughed a little bit too " party's aren't really my scene either, I was going trick or treating with my brother"

"Yeah I would do the same with my sister but she says she to old for me to go with her" she laughed again

"Well Nancy over there thinks I should go" Olivia looked over at the girl she saw the boy from earlier Steve was that's his name? Yeah how could she forget that

Steve hugged Nancy from behind and lifted her from the ground, he placed her down again and kissed her

Olivia looked at Jonathan and saw the hurt on his face

"You like her?" She asked out of the blue

Jonathan looked at her in chock "w-what?" He said

"Nancy you like her?....Oh I'm so sorry I shouldn't have asked that" she apologized

"No it's fine, I don't know plus she have a boyfriend you know" he said

"Yeah, but that doesn't stop you from liking her it just stops you from being in a relationship with her, but you never know what happens"

She said bye and walked away maybe she shouldn't have asked that but she could she the way Jonathan looked at Nancy it was like this stare you just see in movies

When school was over Billy drove max and Olivia to the arcade, after the first day of school they wanted to have fun and here they where

Stepping out of the car max and Billy where fighting this wasn't anything unusual for the step-siblings Olivia just find it tiring

Olivia watch max play some games she asked herself if she should ask about max day at school or if she shouldn't she didn't seam to happy about it

"Hey you okey?" She asked max she needed to know if her sister where okey

"Yeah,yeah I'm fine, you?" She asked

"I'm fine really" Olivia's voice don't sound to convincing but at the moment she didn't care she were tired

They went home Olivia didn't have anything better to do so she just went to bed she was tried and all the overwhelming feelings she had over the they finally went away
