As always, I had lunch with Kelly. In reality I wanted to hang out with Ashley instead but she didn't have the same lunch as I did. Besides, she was only going to be a friend when I needed her to be. Basically whenever Kelly wasn't around. I wouldn't have dared hung out with the both of them at the same time. They were two complately people with two completely different aspects of me. Kelly thought I was loyal and honest. In where Ashley was getting to know the real me which was not honest nor loyal at all. Kelly was boring while Ashley was fun.
We sat at a near by table. Kelly was all excited which made me wonder why and also why she hadn't told me what it was. She usually told me everything even when I didn't want to hear it. 'I'm probably going to regret this later' I thought as I groaned at myself.
"Why are you so happy today? You know more than usual," I said as I tossed a tater tot into my mouth.
"Finally you've asked!" she said with a huge grin on her face, seeming shocked that I've actually asked her something about herself. "My cousin is coming over to spent the rest of the school year here and at my house!" she squealed out.
"He or she?" if it were a 'she' then that would be bad news because she was probably going to be as annoying as Kelly. If it were a 'he' then it depended, he was either going to be good-looking or ugly as hell. I wished for it to be a hot as guy cousin.
"He's a guy," Kelly replied, not thinking too much of my question. It was normal. Ok, well half my prayer was answered. 'Come on god, please let it be a cute guy,' I said in my head. Kelly was starting to talk more about how here cousin was coming over but I couldn't help to interrupt her.
"Cute or ugly?" I needed to know to determine whether to keep on listening to her or not. If he were cute then I would give her my full attention but if he were ugly then I would probably pretend to be listening to her but actually be criticizing her. Trust me, there were a lot to criticize her for. Her shirt looked like an old grandmothers' blouse and her hair was in a messy bun. Not a cute messy bun but in a terrible messy bun. Did she not care how she looked? She was pretty, why didn't she take advantage of that?
"Oh wow," Kelly stared at me with a face with no emotion in it. "That doesn't matter," she added. That probably meant that he was hideous. Eww,, I was losing interest.
"What?" I tried acting innocent which made Kelly chuckle a bit. 'Yeah, laugh idiot' I thought as I gave her a fake smile. "Just answer please," I pouted my lips and blinked my eyes rapidly twice to make myself look cute, which was easy.
"Alright," Kelly gave in, ha, so easy! "Yeah, he's very cute," she complimented her own cousin.
"I'll show him around," I said with a smirk.
"That would be great!" she loved the idea. "It would be so cool if you guys got to spent alot of time together!" ok, she was way to over excited now. I gave her a confused look. Kelly knew exactly why, "He's a great cousin whom I get along great. It would be nice if him and you... you know," she started to grow embarrassed for some reason. Sometimes she was too naive.
"If we what? If we have sex?" I questioned her, knowing perfectly that was not what she meant.
She was taken back and shush me, "No! I meant if you two went out," she started to turn red in the cheeks. Haha, that was funny! "You're my best friend and I know you would be great with him," she added.
"Yeah, maybe," I tossed another tater tot in my mouth. "When does he get here?" I asked as I loosened the cap off my powerade. Since I had lotion on my hands, my hand kept slipping off the cap. Making it impossible for me to open it.
Kelly snatched the bottle from me, "He gets home today," she replied as she easily loosened the cap. I took the powerade from her and drinked from it. "You should go to my house after school so we can wait for him," she said excitedly as I swallowed the drink.
