Athena's pov:

I woke up at about 6am ready for a new day. I do my usual stuff whilst trying not to wake up Cora. Fortunately for me she's a very hard sleeper and it's extremely difficult for her to wake up. I shower and put on my outfit for the day and just sit on my phone for a bit considering there's nothing better to do. I scroll through Instagram and see riven come across my feed. I decide to give him a follow and you know like every person who follows a new account I stalk his page for a bit being extremely careful not to click like or anything.

"Shit is it time to wake up already?" I hear Cora say in her morning voice.

"I'm afraid so, it's 6:30 and we have class at 7 so you might want to get up you lazy human"

"Sleeping doesn't make you lazy it makes me tolerable," she says

"True that. Even I would be scared of you without sleep"

I walk back into the dorm room to find a heated argument between Stella, bloom and somehow Musa. They were arguing about last night and blaming it all on each other.

"I will just figure this all out later but until then you all keep your mouths shut, got it?" Stella states very authoritatively.

"Oh and make sure Terra knows that, she cannot seem to keep her mouth shut."

The door from the room which Terra was standing in creeped open.

"Got it" She says awkwardly from behind the door. I tap into her emotions and can feel that she was very hurt by his comment. I gave her a sincere smile before heading to my dorm to get changed for the day.

Cora and I sat next to each other in the stone circle whilst Miss Dowling was talking about how magic lives in nature and how magic is amplified through the stone circle. Suddenly what she's saying peaks an interest in me.

"Further down the line you may be able to connect with other elements but for now we will focus on making your powers as strong as they can be"

I nod my head extremely enthusiastic to get to work. Terra is the first one to demonstrate her Powers. Her eyes flow an emerald green and she starts growing a tree in the vessel. Everyone has their turn one by one until it's only me and Cora left.
"2nd last we have Athena who is a mind fairy". I stand up and go over to the vessel. I focus all my energy and my eyes glow a deep pink with a line of gold on the outside. In front of me a ball shows up and it starts playing a memory. The memory I choose to channel is me and Cora playing as a kid. Then my mind shifted to thinking about Riven and his eyes started to appear in the memory sphere. Before anyone else could see I broke the magic.
"Fuck" I mumble under my breath. I mean it could've gone like Blooms.
"Okay, uhm next is Cora who is a light fairy," Miss Dowling says.
I sit down back in my seat and I'm suddenly lost in my thoughts. I can't go down this path again. It always ends badly. Before my thoughts get too much light beam shines down from the sun into the vessel. It's bright not so much that it'll blind anyone. Cora is doing a fantastic job of showing her powers. After Cora finishes her display of magic Dowling gives her a nod. Everyone claps including me.

Our first day ended early and I knew my brother wasn't going to be finished for another hour so I decide to take a visit to go and see him. I walk over to the specialist's area and see everyone duelling like crazy and the occasional people that weren't training.
"Can u try being 50% less of a dick" sky says
"Then I'd be 50% less fun" Riven replies.
I shake my head and laugh aloud knowing sky is 100% in the right. While walking past the two boys I got into Riven's point of view. He starts calling after me. All I do is flip him off in return because I don't really want to speak to him right now. I mean he's really pissed me off after all he's done. Plus I was here to see my brother. Not some stupid, stoner, fat-phobic cunt. I walk around for about fifteen minutes but I have no luck finding him. I do however find Stella and sky talking. As I head over there I also notice Riven talking to that first year again.
