"Doctor!!!! doctor!!!!!"

His voice boomed throughout the hall of the hospital

"Sana!!! Sana!!! aanke bandh math karo jaan!! Sana aanke kuli rako!!!"

Pushing on the stretcher towards the OT he held on to her hands rubbing off his tears harshly he held her hands more tightly.

"Sir, aap yahi rukiye aur hame patient ko check karne dijiye"

He was stopped by the nurse to enter into OT and the door of the OT closed completely.

"Meri biwi!!! Meri biwi ki jaa..n bachahiye... please!!!! usko bachahiye"

"Sir hum patient ka jaan bachane ki poori koshish karenge, aap hosla rake Allah sab teek kar degha!! Aap please inn papers par sign kardijiye!!!"

His hands were shaking, he could not stand on his feet, he was scared!! He scared to loose them!!!

"Sir, plz jaldi sign kariye hame operation start karna padega!!! Patient has already lost lot of blood!!"

"J...ii"

He signed his life off.

Leaning on to the wall he fell on the ground his head was blasting like some bomb had exploded within his head, holding his head tight, he began rubbing his forehead harshly, a man who was brooding like a beast till yesterday was now on the floor.

His hands were covered with her blood, his hands were shivering remembering the past few moments, his body was shaking, he was shivering in fear, fear of loosing them, loosing his own family. Tears which he had hidden from the world were about to spill, fear and anxiety were ruling his body, her innocent face flashed in front of his eyes, her small plump pregnant form flashed in front of his eyes and then his eyes went to his hand... Blood!!!! Blood!!!!! Tears fell from his eyes, his small whimper turned into loud sob, his loud sob resonated in the entire hospital wing.

He remembered the day she told him that she was pregnant!! Every woman out there would have been on cloud nine to share such an amazing news with their life partner but his wife!!! he only saw fear, those big doe eyes held fear in them, her voice shattering in anxiety... How unlucky she was to get a bastard like him in the form of her husband who instead of celebrating the happiness of his fatherhood and there was busy thinking to get rid of the gift he was bestowed with...

He remembered the day of her first sonogram... she had that brightest smile on her face when she held it in her hands, she was so enthusiastic in showing it everyone in the family but what he did!!! He just burnt her entire report!!! Yes he burnt them in his anger!!!! That was the day.. her face which had brightest smile in the morning was drowned in tears and had slept on the floor hugging the burnt ashes in the night!!!

He remembered the day when they were sleeping it was midnight and he heard her loud sob, he didn't know why she was crying, he was disturbed his sleep was important he had early morning meeting to attend, anger rose his body without thinking anything he held her hands harshly pulling her out of the bed without even hearing her explanation he just threw her out of his room!! She begged them him to listen to her, she just her stomach was paining, her back was aching!!! Everything felt deaf to his ears!!! Next day he saw her sleeping on the floor leaning to the wall her one hand on her bump clutching on it protectively and other laying freely.

He chocked on his tears

WHAT HAD HE DONE!!!!

Was there a day he made her feel pregnant??? Was there a day he had not seen fear in her face during the entire preganacy?? Was there a day she slept without crying in the entire pregnant phase??
