Y/n was a close friend of the Salvatore family, closer with Damon than she was with Stefan.
When Katherine Peirce first came to live with the brothers in 1864, Y/n was around the house almost all the time.
Let's just say the two girls were more alike than they thought. They despised eachother and it didn't go unnoticed, expecially when Katherine started to mess with the boy's feelings.
Y/n knew what the woman was and decided why not confront the girl before Giuseppe decided to fix the vampire problem for Mystic Falls once and for all. She grabbed hold of the Vampire's wrist as she walked past the doorway and pulled her into her bedroom, slamming her back against the closed door.
Katherine snarled as the veins underneath her eyes appeared and her fangs dropped, Y/n copying her as she hissed "Stop what you re doing Peirce."
"Oh, come on Y/n. I'm just playing around, no harm."
"No Katherine, you are eating your way through the town and fast. How many people do you think I have seen with bites on their wrist already?"
The woman tilted her head slightly as her long curls covered Y/n's hand on her throat "Are you jelous, do you want one too? I love biting my own y'know, the scars they leave. So pretty."
Y/n watched intently as she let Katherine remove her own hand from her neck and move it to hold her wrist infront of her mouth.
"You want?"
Without even realising it, Y/n nodded, letting out a small gasp as Katherine's fangs pierced her skin.
Y/n had heard of and read about Vampires feeding on their own kind, but it only happened with mates. And if this meant what it usually did, then Y/n was completely and utterly under the control of none other than Katherine Peirce or as the originals knew her as Katerina Petrova.
For hundreds of more years after Katherine turned Stefan and Y/n turned Damon, the four of them spent most of their time staying in Mystic Falls or New Orleans.
Y/n was alot more powerful just for a Vampire and it turned out she had extra powers, being able to keep her mate safe from Niklaus Mikeaslon and his chaotic family.
