(Y/n)'s POV

Danny has been... weird for a while now. He has been going out at odd hours and he was sleepy all the time. Like right now, he was just sleeping on the couch even though he woke up fifteen minutes ago. Has he been working for too long? I walk over to him so I could take a better look at his face. He had dark circles around his eyes as he was snoring away. I felt sorry for him since he had to work for the both of us.

"Danny?" I whisper to him while giving his shoulder a gentle push. He was groaning while turning to his other side. "Just give me five minutes." He says before he gets a comfortable position. "Danny, you will be late soon." He huffs almost angrily before he sits up. "I hate work." He whispers which made me feel even more bad since this was basically my fault since I couldn't work for now.

I wanted to make him feel more comfortable since he has been doing everything for me. I get to the kitchen and start to make some homemade lunch for him to take to work. I was making some sandwiches and little salad that he could take with him to work. I could hear him curse almost all the time from his office. I didn't know what he was doing in there but I wasn't going to find out since he could get more upset about that.

I sigh as I start to make some pancakes for him to eat as breakfast. I needed to do something nice to him today since he needs a break from his work. Maybe I could even tidy up his office since he sometimes complains how messy his office is. But I needed to take his keys from him when he wasn't looking. I knew he always kept them in his bag so I just had to distract him for a little while.

Few moments later he walks in the kitchen while wearing something more presenting. "I made you some lunch and breakfast." He looks at the pancakes and gives me a huge smile. "Thank you babe. What would I do without you?" I smile and run over to him to give him a hug. He was chucking before giving a kiss on my forehead. "Look at you. Being so happy with your adorable tummy." He puts his hands to my stomach and gives it a little soft pats.

I giggle and give him a kiss. "I'm so excited to be a mother to your children." He tilts his head with a smile. "Mine? They are our children, not just mine." I circle my finger against his chest with a smile. "Yeah they are but you made it happen." He smiles proudly with a chuckle. "Give me more praise dear and I will call in sick and stay here with you... all... day." He whispers those things against my ear which made my cheeks turn red.

"I know but you love your work don't you?" I lift my hand to his hair and let my fingers brush through his locks. "I do but there are things I love more than that." I just smile at his words and sadly push myself away from him. "I know but you are amazing with your job. You always know how to right things. And to be fair, that is so sexy." I could see that his cheeks started to burn red as he clears his throat.

"I-I'm glad you like it." He says before he sits by the table. I smirk as I look at his bag and see those keys. I walk over to him and start to massage his shoulders which makes him groan. "I'm going to get the newspaper." I press a kiss to his cheek before I leave him alone. I walk towards the bag which was on the table which I was going to pass. I quickly snatch the keys from the bag and get out. I smile happily as my success since Danny is usually so careful with his stuff.

I go outside and smell the fresh country air. It was odd to move almost in the middle of nowhere since I have lived in the city almost my whole life. But listening the birds without any traffic noise was like a dream. I walk over to the mailbox while the other of my hands was resting on my growing stomach. I was still worried since Ghostface wasn't captured yet. Thinking about him made me feel confused.

I loved Danny with all my heart, but there was something mysterious and dangerous about the masked serial killer. Danny has always been so nice and caring to me but I wanted something more exciting. I look in the mailbox only to see a newspaper and some letter. I take it out only to see that it was addressed to Danny but there was nothing that could implicate that it came through the mail. Has someone gone by here?
