About an hour later it was finally their stop Alex said "Honey wake up we gotta get off" as they got off it started pouring rain, and as usual all Lexi was wearing was a band t-shirt and ripped jeans and boots Alex wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her close to him and he said "Baby why aren't you wearing a coat it's cold out, do you want my hoodie?" Lexi smiled as they walked home and she said "I was running late this morning… and no I'm fine babe" they were half way to his house, Lexi had suggested that they go to his house because her dad was abusing her but she didn't tell him that.
They made it to his house, alex yelled "Mom I'm home" he kissed her head and said "I brought Lexi'' his mom yelled from the kitchen "Okay honey" they went up to his room Lexi said "Here's your hoodie back" he smiled and laid on his bed "you can have it babe I have a million of them". She smiled and laid her head on his chest and fell asleep listening to his heartbeat. He kissed her head and said " I love you sweetheart sweet dreams" as he drifted off to sleep.
About half an hour later Alex's mom comes in and says "Dinners on The table I called Lexi's dad and told him she was staying the night" With Alex awake and Lexi still fast asleep on his chest Alex whispered "okay mom" Alex kisses her head and says "cmon sleepy head let's go eat baby" she mumbles "okay…" she gets up rubs her eyes.
