You were driving home when you started getting a little bit of a sweet tooth so you pulled over at the next gas station for some snacks, standing at the slushie machine you were debating on if you even wanted one and if you did what flavour would you even pick, finally you decided to get a blue raspberry slushie as well as 4 chocolate bars(two for Dustin when he came home) the little old man that worked there was always so sweet to you, giving you discounts and just having conversations about life which you always appreciated, walking out and waving goodbye to him you noticed a familiar car sitting in the darkness near the gas station... it kinda looked like Billy's car... weird but you didn't fixate on it too much hopping back into your car and heading the rest of the way home.
~Time skip~
You threw your keys on the kitchen table and sat down on the couch to just relax for a minute before having a shower and heading to bed, it was always so quite at your house, your mom worked away from home and was only ever back for maybe a week at most every month but you didn't mind too much the space is always nice.
Tossing the chocolate wrapper onto the side table to slowly made your way up the stairs and into the bathroom attached to your room getting a nice hot shower feeling so relaxed and tired you ran your fingers through your hair making sure you had rinsed it out properly before getting out. Grabbing your towel and drying off all you can think about is your night with Eddie and seeing him again, you noticed he left a pretty noticeable mark on your neck but you didn't mind too much, you actually really loved that he did.
~10:00pm~
"Wow I didn't think it was that late, time just flies I guess" you mumbled to yourself laying down on your bed in your silk robe, your eyes slowly started to close even though you tried to fight it eventually the exhaustion won and you fell asleep....
You can't breathe, you feel a pair of hands around your neck squeezing harder and harder, you hear a loud voice screaming at you but you can't make out the words, they're shaking you and you feel yourself fading.... *BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEEP* you wake up screaming and your heart is racing, you get up and out of bed and immediately run to the washroom and splash your face with water "thank god it's Friday" you got ready and put on this outfit(except it was in purple) and get in the car heading to school it seems like the parking lot was pretty empty.. guessing a few of the kids decided not to come in today which works in your favour because crowds made you feel overwhelmed. You parked and just sat back in your car with your eyes closed, trying to kill some time when all of a sudden you hear a car screeching in the parking lot and parking just one space next to you, you knew who it was but didn't wanna open your eyes.
*tap tap* "Hey Henderson, you having a nap or do you wanna come have a smoke before going in?" Billy was something... hard to read, you stepped out of your car only to hear the kind of whistling guys did when they see a nice car except Billy was doing it to you "ha ha very funny, where's that smoke you promised?" You replied trying to brush off the fact he was probably flirting, he handed you a cigarette and as soon as you put it in your mouth he held up his lighter for you but you knew better and pulled out your own from your purse and lit your smoke "thanks Billy"
"I wanted to give you a little heads up just because I think you're so damn cute" he said moving closer to you before continuing "there's a freak that goes here and I see how he looks at you, he's fucking strange and stupid if he thinks he has a chance with you, he's actually watching us as we speak"
You were confused and slightly uncomfortable, does Billy think he has a chance with me? Not in a million years.
You toss your cigarette moving away from Billy slightly "are you talking about Eddie? He's actually pretty nice, maybe don't call him a freak?" You said slightly annoyed
He licked his lips again and laughed to himself before looking at you with a cold yet lustful look in his eyes "I've been thinking" he walked closer "I know you're close with the freak" he put his hand on the roof of your car next to your face "but if you're ever looking for a real man you know where to find me" finally he backed off heading inside, you felt absolutely sick to your stomach and it was obvious how disgusted you were with Billy and his words.
You got back into your car and made eye contact with Eddie who looked concerned, you started your car and just drove home deciding not to go to school today, you picked up the phone and called Mikes mom "hey Mrs Wheeler I'm sorry to bother you but if it's not too much trouble could you also pick up Dustin today? Unfortunately I'm not feeling to well so I'll be staying in bed trying to feel better"
"Oh absolutely hun, I was gonna let you know Dustin decided to spend the night again tonight if that okay"
You felt a relief that you didn't have to worry about Dustin tonight "of course thank you so much Mrs Wheeler"
