Chapter 3

Amanda's POV

I laughed as Hunter's mom, Melissa, showed me all of his old baby photos. They were so funny. One of them is of him falling off the monkey bars when he was 3. This was comedy gold.

I had put on my black suede crop top, tight silver leather jeans and black and purple high-tops and my hair tied back.
I heard footsteps come down the stairs. I instantly smiled, knowing it was Hunter.

"Um, hi," he said nervously "What're you doing here?" He said with an awkward smile, "Amanda is here to start doing you're school project together." Melissa said to Hunter with a smile.

I sat and watched as Hunter saw what was on the kitchen table "Are they my baby photos?!" He said rushing over to the table, "I told you not to show anyone these!" He panicked to his mother as his cheeks went bright red. "Well, they're just so cute!" Melissa laughed, and I started laughing too, Hunter ran and hid the box of photos in his room.

Hunter stepped out of his room, he had calmed down a bit now, a bit. "So, um come on," he said anxiously "Lets go, start the project." He mumbled as he grabbed me by the arm and dragged me to his room. "Why are you here?" He said thinking I was there to 'hurt him' or something "I'm here for the project," I spoke slowly, "Look, ill do thee tire project and put both our names on it, deal?" He said calmly.

Hunter's POV

I know Amanda's here to get gossip on me. Its obvious. I'm just hoping she didn't get any pics of that baby stuff.
"No, I want to help!" She suddenly snapped. "Amanda you can't fool me I know what you're up to." I said as I rolled my eyes. "No, I really do want to help." She responded with a low tone. "Why do you hate me?" She continued "Because you're a gossip, all you ever do is gossip and blab about people behind their backs!" I yelled at her, her lips began to quiver and her eyes watered. "Just forget it then." she said before storming out.
