Hunters POV

I ran out of the cafe and practically jumped into my truck, I knew Amanda would be at my house waiting. I don't want to risk her seeing any more baby photos.

I sped down the road, I don't know what had gotten into me, but I felt like a I had to see her. The heavy rain tapped against the car doors as I firmly pressed my foot on the brakes as I went up the drive way too my house.

"Mom, where's Amanda?" I yelled as I ran in through the front door, "She left awhile ago remember?" I mom whispered in an innocent tone, "I think something must be wrong with you dear." She continued. "No, she left her necklace." I said anxiously as my mothers eyes widened. "Oh, right, that's in your room." she said, laying her eyes back on her magazine.

I ran into my room and picked up the necklace off the top of my beige drawer next to my bed, I sighed in relief.

Amanda's POV

I walked down the street in the cold rain, the tears streaming from my eyes just looked like raindrops, but my face was bright red. I saw Hunters street coming up and I got really nervous, but then suddenly this black figure appeared, running down the street, carrying something that looked my my necklace, it was Hunter.

"Amanda!" I heard him yell as I turned away. "Amanda, here's your necklace." he said, trying to catch his breath. I just stayed silent, when I felt a cold chain around the front of my neck, and heard the clip at the back. I turned around to see Hunter walking away. I touched the necklace and smiled a little, "Hunter! Wait!" I yelled, he turned around. "What?" He replied. "See you at school!" I yelled out to him standing at the end of the road waving my arm. Maybe Hunter wasn't so bad after all.
