Turhan Sultan

Turhan Sultan was the youngest of Selim's daughters, but she still was fortunate enough to be older than her twin Suleiman. As thus, she grew to be the favourite sultana of both her parents' and was not married off as young as her older sisters were. She was inseperable from her twin, and no one doubted that when he'd become sultan, he will want to keep her close.

One would argue that Turhan Sultan wielded more power during the magnificent's reign than their mother or his legal wife.

In truth, Turhan never underminded her mother's authority, unless necessary and always in secret. And she had been one of Hurrem's supporters since her Hatun days.
