A few minutes ago. . .
While the Pines argued from the other side of the door, Wendy and Dipper were getting more frantic as the monster's shadow start getting closer.
Wendy: Dipper, just say whatever Mabel wants you to say, so she'll let us out of here!
Dipper turn to look at her pressuring gaze and the feeling of sweat drip down his face. Anxiety and fear boiling up inside him.
Dipper: Wendy, I. . .I. . . . I'm gonna find another way out!
Poor boy gave into his fears instead, grabbed the teen's wrist and dragged her away from the door.
Wendy: Wait, what?! Dude, where are we going?!
Dipper didn't answer and continued running away further into the room with the monster's screech echoing in the distance. They were too caught up in their escape, they didn't took noticed of their surrounding until it was too late.
The two stopped in their tracks, in front of them is dead end.
Dipper and Wendy pressed against the dirt walls and panted hysterically as the monster's terrifying screech grew louder.
Wendy: What do we do?!
Dipper: I don't know!
They could see the monster's shadow crawling. But before any more steps could be taken, another, more humane shaped appeared. Jumping behind the monster's back.
The two watched in shock as this new silhouette wrestled the monster and even pulling it's tongue.
The monster screeched in pain, before scurrying off.
"Back, back you heinous beast!"
When the monster was no longer in sight, the figure walked towards Dipper and Wendy, finally coming into their view.

"Well, I just ripped out a monster's tongue." The mysterious man said, casually throwing the ripped tongue on the ground.
