New Hashira

Chapter 1

"Will it kill you to hold back a little!?" Zenitsu exclaimed as he fell to the ground.

"If I did that what would be the point in training!!" Inosuke retorted before the two men noticed the setting sun. Zenitsu quickly stood up. "Tanjiro, it's time to stop training for today." Zenitsu said before Tanjiro stopped swinging his sword.

Tanjiro put his sword in his sheath and smiled. "Let's head back to the Butterfly Mansion."

They walked back to the Butterfly Mansion in silence until Zenitsu asked. "Have you heard the rumor that there is a new Hashira?"

"No. Is it true?" Tanjiro asked after looking at Zenitsu.

"I think it is, but it could be false."

"It's true, his name is Zoro." Shinobu said appearing behind the group of three. Zenitsu gasped in surprise. "Oh, really? What is he like?" Tanjiro asked like her appearing out of nowhere was normal.

"I haven't actually met him myself, but he passed the last final selection." Shinobu answered.

"Really!? The last final selection was last week!!" Zenitsu exclaimed with one hand on each cheek. 

"I want to fight him!!" Inosuke yelled in delight.

"I don't think that's a good idea, Inosuke." Tanjiro said.

Shinobu nodded. "Since Zoro-san became a Demon Slayer, the number of Demon attacks went down tremendously."

"Is that so? If that's true, I hope to meet him soon." Tanjiro said while smiling.

"You're in luck because Zoro-san is going to be living in the Butterfly mansion since he absolutly terrible with directions." Shinobu informed.

"Why did you agree to share your home without even meeting the guy?! Next thing we know, you arranged a marriage with him!!" Zenitsu exclaimed while rolling on the ground.

Shinobu covered her mouth while giggling. Tanjiro sniffed and caught an unfamiliar scent. it wasn't a demon, so Tanjiro didn't freak out. He heard a crow say, "That's the wrong way." then a deep voiced grunt. The group of four looked behind them, as that was the direction the crow was yelling the same sentence over and over.

When the crow and the new hashira finally bumped into the group there was an awkward silence. The new hashira was wearing a green kimono with the demon slayer uniform under it, three swords on his right hip. He was showing his chest and part of his stomach which revealed his abs and a scar. He had short green hair, a grayish blue eye, and a scar on his left eye.

"Hello, you must be Zoro-san."Shinobu said while smiling. Zoro glared at her and nodded. Inosuke thought it would be a good idea to try to attack the new hashira with both his swords only for Zoro to pull out one of swords and effortlessly block him.

"Inosuke, that's against corps rules!! AND he's a Hashira!! Apologies right now before he kills us all!!" Zenitsu exclaimed tears rolling down his face.

Inosuke landed on his feet, ignoring Zenistu he tried to use one of his breathing technique's but couldn't for some reason, which had confused Inosuke for a split second before blood went spewing out of his chest. 

"What happened?!! I couldn't see anything!!" Zenitsu exclaimed before he saw Inosuke on the ground, half dead. "You killed him!!!" Zenitsu screamed at Zoro as he put his sword in his sheath. "Relax, he is not going to die unless you let him bleed to death." Zoro said calmly.

" What exactly did you do? I saw Inosuke trying to use one of his breathing techniques but couldn't." Shinobu asked, just as confused as Zenitsu.

Zoro didn't answer and walked past her as he saw the butterfly mansion. "You should treat him now. His heart is starting to slow." 

Shinobu's eyes started to widen, and she ran to pick up Inosuke to bring him to the mansion.

" You left a deep cut and told us that he wasn't going to die!? You are a cold man, a cold man I tell you!!" Zenitsu exclaimed in Zoro's ear. Zoro ignored his yelling and took a bite of an onigiri.  "Why are you complaining? He's alive, isn't he?" He said calmly. It has been two weeks sense Zoro had defeated Inosuke easily.

"How many humans did you cut up?! You are talking to me like you were an assassin!" Zoro ignored his comment and finished his onigiri.

"By the way, Zoro-san. Why do you have three swords?" Tanjiro asked.

Zoro picked up another onigiri and took a bite before he answered. "I have three swords because I use the three-sword style." 

"Where does the third sword go?" Zenitsu stopped screaming.

Zoro swallowed the last bite of the onigiri and pulled out the sword with a white hilt. " I put it in my mouth." He said before putting it in his mouth.

" That's kind of creative." Zenitsu commented before rolling his eyes. Zoro ignored him and put his sword in his sheath. His crow flew in and yelled. "It's time for your mission Zoro. In the Southeast there is a large village that many men and women are going missing. We have sent many lower rank demon slayers but all of them gotten killed."

Zoro was holding his chin while thinking. "Is it alright if I bring Zenitsu Agastuma, Tanjiro Kamado, and Inosuke Hashibira? " Zoro asked the crow. "That's fine, but why do you ask?" The crow answered. " I wanted to see if I could make them my Tsuguko."

Tanjiro and Zenitsu looked at Zoro with wide eyes. "What!?" Zenitsu exclaimed with his eyes popping out.

Sorry If this was short and pretty much sucked. I had this idea of Roranoa Zoro from the anime One Piece being a Hashira. The timeline is before Muzan came to the Master's house and the things that happened after that. If you didn't watch One Piece, I suggest you watch it because it is awesome. (Zoro's not the main character btw) One Piece is an anime about pirates.
