New Hashira

Chapter 2

I can't believe this. When I was trying to sleep, I had a buttload of ideas. And now that I'm sitting at this computer, my mind is fucking blank.  Kanoe is Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke current rank. The image above is not mine nor is the book cover.

Tanjiro, Inosuke, Zenitsu, and Zoro were walking down a road ignoring a crow keep telling them to head Southeast. " Zoro-san, what made you want us as your Tsuguko?"

Zoro was silent thinking of how to answer. " Well, you three are pretty weak and I wanted to train you to make you stronger."

The three Kanoe ignored the part where he called them weak. " I have a personal question." Zenitsu said. " That's fine, spit it out." Zoro looked in Zenitsu's direction.

"How did you get that scar on your left eye?" Zenitsu asked preparing for a beating, but Zoro was thinking about telling him.

"I got it when I was younger." 

"But how?" Zenitsu asked before Zoro stopped and looked around. "There's a bar over there, I'll tell you in there." He said as he pointed at a bar.  "But Zoro-san, we are under so we can't drink sake." Tanjiro said as they started walking towards the bar.

"Do what you like, there's usually food in Bars so you can eat." Zoro said before the Kanoe nodded. When the group of Demon slayers walked in Zoro sensed a Demon. He chose to ignore it until it was time to leave the bar. They ordered their food and drinks before Zenitsu reminded Zoro of why they came in the bar.

Zoro set down his cup of sake. "Right, how I got my scar."

Flashback (Here comes the gory scenes) 

Zoro was thirteen years old. He was practicing with his swords until the sun started to set and his sensei said that it was time to eat.

Zoro was eating a bowl of ramen with his classmates, when suddenly the dojo got destroyed and Zoro was in a pile of ruins. His classmates' blood was everywhere including all over his body, his bowl of ramen now broken, mixed with dirt and blood. Zoro looked around in horror. 'What happened?'

He got up and walked around seeing the dead bodies of the people he spared with, ate with, laughed with, and made memories with. Memories of them smiling and laughing ran through his mind. 

He heard the sound of something eating. He headed towards that sound and found a 'monster' taking a bite out of his dead sensei's arm. Zoro gasped silently before he noticed Kuina, the only classmate mate that was able to beat him, holding a sword behind the creature that was eating her father and Zoro's sensei. The creature had noticed her and started to turn around. 

"Kuina, get out of here!!" Zoro screamed out before the creature split her throat. Horror elevated through Zoro as he watched her choked on her own blood. The creature started laughing. "I know the sensei wasn't a hashira but he was still easy to kill. And his daughter," He started before laughing and finished after he was done. "Wasn't even worth eating."

Zoro started burning with anger, and without a moment to think he picked up the sword Kuina was holding and quickly cut off the demon's arms. The creature quickly regenerated his arms and looked in Zoro's direction. There were numbers in the creature's eyes. Zoro read them and he would have run away if he wasn't so angry. It was Upper moon six, and it seems that ranking was taken from him because it had an X over it.

The Demon ran towards him to stab him in the eye, but luckily Zoro barely dodged it which caused him his left eye. The demon took advantage of the detraction, and slashed Zoro's torso that went down from Zoro's left shoulder to his right hip. Zoro screamed in pain both mentally and physically, dropping the sword he tried his hardest to breath. the demon was laughing maniacally, mocking him and saying how weak Zoro is.

Breathing heavily Zoro once again picked up the sword. Taking advantage of the arrogance the demon had and aimed for the demons' neck and quickly slashed without a moment of thinking for either side. The sword had cut though the demon's neck and its head started rolling in the remains of his dojo then disappeared into ash.

Zoro looked over to the dead bodies of his classmates and his sensei hoping at least one of them were alive. Unfortunately, none of even had a heartbeat. He dropped the sword he used and dropped to his knees, again looking to his dead sensei and then broke into tears, screaming in pain.

End of Flashback

"I got it while fighting a demon." Was all he told the Kanoe. "What!? I thought you were going to tell us a very sappy story!!!!" Zenitsu yelled in the Hashira's ear, however Zoro just ignored the yelling.

"I wanted to go into this bar to get some sake. I wasn't planning on telling you a very 'sappy' story." He said before taking a large sip of sake. After he swallowed and set down his drink he said, "Besides you three needed to eat something anyways."

"I see." Tanjiro said while Zenitsu was retorting some comments that no one was listening to. "Tanjiro" Zoro said. " Yes, Zoro-san?"

"I'm sure you have a good reason to carry a demon around, and I want to know what that reason is." he said while glaring at Tanjiro and the box that Tanjiro had brought.

"T-the master didn't tell you?" Tanjiro stuttered. "The master didn't inform me of any Demon slayers carrying a man-eating demon."

"W-well she is my-" Tanjiro started before Zoro started laughing. Tanjiro gave him a confused look.

"What so funny Zoro-san?"Tanjiro asked still confused.

After Tanjiro asked him that, Zoro stopped laughing. "Well, it's true that Master didn't tell me about the demon but when I sensed her, I also sensed that she had not eaten a single drop of blood."

Tanjiro stared at him with wide eyes. "You can sense that?" Zentsu stopped retorting comments the moment Zoro started laughing. Zoro smiled and nodded. "I can also sense that she and you are blood related, if I hadn't sensed any of that I would've killed her then and there. Now finish your food before I eat it all."

I'm not good with endings. It feels I've been writing for hours. I probably should've rated this mature because of the gory scenes but I'm too lazy to change it now. Hope ya'll like this chapter.
