Chapter 10

The upper rank that kept changing the room had been killed so all the Demon slayer got flung out and was now under the night sky. The demon slayer weren't  the only ones who got flung out, Muzan was as well. 

The first person that muzan attacked was the person who killed Kokushibo, Zoro. Zoro had barely managed to block Muzans attack. Muzans ended up reopening Zoro's scar on his torso but Zoro didn't even flinch. 'Asura breathing, Ninth form, Rokudo no Tsuji.' Zoro escaped from Muzans grip and cut off Muzans head which ended up regrowing. Zoro had expected that so he wasn't even surprised. 

Muzan swung his blood demon art at Zoro after he had recovered from being beheaded. Muzan set Zoro flying toward a wall.Pain shot through Zoro as he hit a surrounding building. Blood spraying out of his wound. 'Fuck.' Zoro thought as he quickly got up, face calm as if it didn't hurt. 'Why is this human so hard to kill?' Muzan thought as he swung his blood demon at Zoro.

'Asura breathing, third form, Enma slash.' Zoro used to cut Muzan blood demon art and limbs so he could buy time for his next attack. 

'Asura breathing, eleventh form, cancel.' Muzan blood demon art disappeared and his regeneration was as slow as upper rank 6. Gyomei swung his weapon at muzan to retrain him because the sun was yet to come out. Muzan started to try to scatter into a million pieces but was stopped by two things. The poison Tamayo gave him, and Zoro's cancel technique. Muzan fell into panic mode but he couldn't escape because of Zoro technique and Gyomei's restraints.

Zoro concentrated his breathing, trying to keep his technique going until the sun comes out. "Zoro why can't we chop off his head if his regeneration ability had been slowed by your technique?"

"Just don't cut it off. I never used this technique for more than 5 minutes! I might break my concentration as soon as you cut his head off." He said still concentrating on his breathing.

"How much longer till the sun rises?" Giyuu asked

"5 minutes at most." A crow answered. 

"Zoro hang on for a little bit longer. "Giyuu whispered trying not to break Zoro's concentration. 

As the sun raised higher and higher, Muzan panicked more and more and then managed to get out of Gyomei's grip. 

"He escaped!!" 

Zoro rushed to Muzan. 'Asura breathing,  first form, Ichidai Sanzen  daisen Sekai!' Muzan slashed him which only tore Zoro's kimono,  revealing all the scars that his mother gave him. Ignoring this Zoro cut Muzan in half which resulted in Muzan trying to crawl away while starting to disappear into dust. Muzan almost succeeded in going into shade until Zoro held him down on the ground until Muzan finally disappeared.

"Zoro-san!" Tanjiro exclaimed after Zoro fell exhaustedly on the ground.

"I'm fine, go take care of the others." 

"Your wounds are not minor, Zoro-San. We need help over here!" Tanjiro yelled out and a Kakushi came over. And when she saw the scars all around the wound she was shocked but she decided to treat the wound before she asked any questions about it.

"Thank you." Zoro told her after she finished with the treatment.

"Those other scars are not from demons are they?" She asked.

Zoro looked at the scars she was talking about then he nodded. "Where are they from?" Zoro hesitated which is something Tanjiro never saw him do. "My mother." He answered. 

"Why would your mother do something like that to you?" The Kakushi asked wide eyed. "Don't you got other demon slayers to treat?" Zoro asked,  avoiding the question. "Oh, that's right! I'm  sorry Roronoa-san." She said before running to a wounded Sanemi.
