Sunday May 5th, 2024- 3:45am

I walked into the house with tears still running down my face. The car ride was silent all I could think about was how young she was.

I locked the door behind me and went to Toni's room. I opened the door and saw that she was sleeping and Antonio was laying with her staring at the tv. I closed the door then made it to my room

"Ryan" I whispered and she turned around

"I wasn't sleep I was waiting for you" she told me as she sat up. "Are you ok why are you crying"

I went over to her, sat on the bed and hugged her "she's gone Ry."

She didn't say anything she just rubbed my back. "She wanted to be an astronaut. She want to walk on the moon and see the stars in person." I cried

Khloe would always draw pictures of her on the moon. She even drew a picture of me, Myah and her on the moon staring at stars. We keep it at the nurse station.

Ryan held me in her arms as I cried my heart out. I heard a knock on the door. I turned to see Antonio opening the door "can I sleep in here with you"

I smiled and nodded. He ran and jumped on the bed. "I'm going to get in the shower"

I got off the bed and got in the shower. I stood in the water only everything was just replaying in my head.

The bathroom door opened, Ryan came in "Antonio went back downstairs. He said you was taking too long and he gonna go see Rico"

I pulled the curtain back some and stuck my head out. "You can go lay down Ry. It like 4 in the morning"

"It's fine we can go to sleep together" she said softly and sat on the counter

I closed the current back and stood in the water letting it run down my body.

"Are you taking off work" i let out a deep breath. "No. I plan on going back at a little early so I could see her parents"

The bathroom was quiet just the noise of the water. Once I was done I got dressed and I laid in the bed with Ryan in my arms.

I wasn't able to sleep so I just stared into the space

Sunday May 5th, 2024- 1:36pm

"Toni when are you gonna bring me my son" I said in the phone. We have a schedule I don't know why she always trynna act like we don't.

"I'll bring him to you tomorrow" I rolled my eyes at my phone. "Don't make me pull up at your house Toni, I have a key"

"Nigga don't do too much for you get a ass beating. I will bring you Antonio tomorrow damn" I took a deep breath. "Toni you are pissing me off for real. We have a schedule. He was supposed to come with me yesterday. What's so important today that I can't come see my son"

She didn't say nothing and hung up the phone. I tried to call her back but she didn't answer. I picked my keys up and got in the car

She most have thought I was playing. She always wanna act like this when it's my week with our son. Its so sickening to me.

Once I pulled up I saw Trey walking out the house. I got out the car "aye is Toni in there" He nodded and kept walking.

"You good" I asked him and he nodded and got in his car.

I went and unlocked the door and made my way to Toni room. I opened the door to see that nigga Douglas sitting on the bed with my son

"Hi daddy" Antonio stood on the bed and ran over to me and I picked him up. Douglas got out the bed. "Hey Ant"

"Where Toni at?" I started to grab some of Antonio's stuff

"She left like an hour ago." He told me and he handed me Antonio's bag for his clothes

"Tell her I'll bring him back over next week" and with that I left out the room. "Daddy can we get ice cream. Dougie was going to take me"

I rolled my eyes. She got my son call this nigga dougie. "Sure" once we left out the door Toni pulled up

"Ant where are you going" she yelled and I put Antonio in the car seat in my car. "I'm taking my son to my house. You will see if next week or when ever you call"

"Toni chill you know the schedule stop acting like a bitter baby mama and let him see his son damn" Douglas said which I smirked because I know Toni was gonna be real mad now

"Douglas mind your own fucking business" Toni tried to grab Antonio from out the car but stepped in front of her. "Toni stop acting like a bitch for one second please. And grow up."

She then slapped me. Douglas had came over and grabbed her. I laughed to myself and got in the car and pulled off.

"Why did. Why did mommy, mommy hit you?" Antonio asked and I ignored his question "what kind of ice cream you want"

Toni has her moments when she acts like that and other time when she doesn't. It so frustrating. One time she signed him out of daycare on one of my days with him and didn't tell me.

Other time I'm sitting here working shit out with Douglas like damn he's our son. It's time for her to grow the fuck up shit.

"I want cocoa" he said and I laughed.

"With sprinkles" I asked and he screamed "I love. I love sprinkles"

"I know and look we are here" I looked in the mirror to see him dancing in his seat

I got out the car and then took him out the car and we made our way to into the Ben and Jerry's.

We got our ice cream and then sat in the car and ate it. I let him sit in the front sit while we ate it

I heard my phone rang, it was Toni so I handed Antonio his iPad, put his headphones on then answered the call

"Hey Ant I wanted to apologize for the way I was acting." She said and I rolled my eyes "it's time for you to grow up Toni."

"It hard for me to give him back and forth when before he was just with me"

If there's one thing she's gonna bring up is the time I spent in college. I got my degree and I'm working on another so I can become a physical therapist.

I wasn't absent like she likes to say I was I just was in college. I called every night and I can home almost every weekend. I also transferred schools to be closer but noting was enough for her

It's crazy that at one point I thought me and her was soulmates

"Ok Toni. I'll bring him over next week" I told her and then hung up.
