I went down the stairs with Ant following close behind "just be like hey trey. You know ease your way into it"

I looked at trey and we made eye contact "hey Ryan" he said and my heart stopped. "Hey trey"

"Can I talk to you for a second" I nodded and followed him to Toni's room. I closed the door and he sat on the bed

"This whole situation had been a little fucked up" I nodded in agreement. I didn't say anything and I didn't know how to reply

"I think it ok for us to be done now. You know" there was a long pause. "I've been going crazy trying to figure out what I did wrong but I didn't do anything wrong. I tried to be there for you. I seen what you were going through and I wanted to help but you pushed me away"

There was tears falling down his face "so I got you a therapist. And you were happy again or at least happier. Then you slept with him on our anniversary. Out of all days ry, really. I want to sit here and blame myself but it's just eating me apart. So I decided to just let you go. We are officially over"

He wiped his face. "You can sleep with whoever you want now I don't care" he got up and tried to walk out the room but I grabbed his arm

"Trey please I love you" he yanked his arm away "you don't Ryan or at least i can't see that you do. You fucked up what we had."

"I was talking about my grandma and he came onto me and I didn't know what to do and I just responded Trey I'm sorry please don't do this"

He looked at me with a blank stare. Then there was a knock on the door. Trey opened it and it was Ant. "I know it really isn't any of my business but we can hear y'all. And I know y'all don't want to here what I have to say but it sound like he took advantage of Ryan."

"Nigga get the fuck out" Trey yelled and Ant threw his hand up "sorry just you know wanting to help"

"Ain't nothing to help. We done for real" trey slide pass Ant and I followed

"Trey please" I begged but he kept walking.

"Just stop" ant grabbed my shoulder "we'll see how everything plays out maybe with time y'all can work it out"

Friday June 28,2024- 3:47am

"Bryan I swear im never doing that shit again" Rico said while holding our son, Ezra Carter Perez. Our daughter Riley Maria Perez was laying in the hospital crib

"Fats and Mikey gonna be fighting over who the god dad" I laughed to myself while the doctor wrapped my hand "I didn't mean to break your hand"

"Well it's not broken but you did squeeze pretty hard" the doc finished wrapping my hand "call the nurse if you need anything and she'll get me."

I picked up Riley then sat on the bed with Rico. "Hi papa"

"Papa, Bryan really" I rolled my eyes "what I'm trying to find the perfect nickname"

There was a knock on the door and in came trey in his nurse uniform "i got a 30 minute break let me hold him" Rico passed him Ezra and I stood up with Riley

"Hi lil man" trey said while bouncing him around the room

"So how soon you wanna have more" Rico hit me "I'm not having more."

"Bye Rico you know you want to have more" I teased and she laughed and hit me harder "I will be getting back on birth control or your gonna get a vasectomy"

"Damn nigga a vasectomy" trey added in laughing as I sucked my teeth "who the god parents"

"Fats and Ryan" I told him and his smile dropped a little

"That's cool" he continued to bounce around with Ezra

"Now that y'all had him, y'all gonna start planing the wedding" I looked at Rico so she can answer

I've been trying to plan it but she just been doing pushing it off

"I mean I guess so. I think we should wait a few more months" I sucked my teeth

"I think y'all shouldn't wait too long. Be nice to go to a wedding" he handed Ezra back to Rico and sat on the couch
