Thirty-seven stations. I counted all of them one by one, while the landscape went by in front of my gaze.

Six weeks passed by since I received the phone call that changed my life forever: "We are glad to inform you that you have passed the final selection of the Academic competition you took part in last week."

I couldn't believe it myself. How was it possible? Among hundreds of people they chose me and there weren't any mistakes. The first thing I did was that I went to my father and hugged him tight: he was the only one who has always believed in me when I didn't think I could stand a chance myself.

That gesture touched him and I felt tears in my eyes too.

I felt both excited and scared. Who would I meet? Would they like me? Would I be good enough? For six weeks I spent time alone, on my bed always repeating the same questions and finally today I would find my answers.
