Y/n POV
I professionally play Volleyball and my girlfriend is a very famous actor. I knew Sadie since I was in middle school, and we were friends since then. During senior year she asked me out and we have been dating since then. She went on with her dream of acting and I went to professional sports.
Sadie didn't mind much since whenever I got a new hoodie with my team's name on its Sadie would steal it from me. She would where it during interviews and when she would be taking photos for her Instagram. I would smile every time I saw the photos.
Before every game I would call her, and she would wish me luck and to call her after the game. I picked up my phone and called Sadie "hey baby" she said "hey babe, my game is going to start soon so I thought I would call you" I said "really?" she said "yeah it's the first round of the tournament" I said "well I heard some special guests are going to be there tonight" she said.
I could hear the smirk on her face over the phone "oh my god are you here?" I said before hearing the phone cut off. I pulled it away and walked over to my team and Sadie and Millie came walking over to me "oh my god I thought you guys were going to be filming today" I said hugging them "nope turns out they pushed filming back a week so we all thought we should come and watch you play" my girlfriend said, "you guys didn't have to and what do you mean all?" I asked, "pretty much the cast of stranger things is here" Millie said "Y/n we need you come on" my friend on the team said "coming, thank you guys" I said hugging her one more time and running off to my team
We start warmups and then we get on the court. Throughout the game when I would serve, I heard the stranger things cast cheer me on and it gave me more confidence. Just like that we won both the sets and made it to the next round. We had about a hour long brake and I went to talk to my friends and Sadie "you guys did so good y/n" Noah said "yeah you guys did really well" Caleb commented
"Guys that's why we're in the tournament in the first place" I said laughing they all started laughing and it made me smile. Someone comes up from behind me and they started hugging me. I lean into the touch knowing it was Sadie "really thought you guys didn't have to come" I said, "well it was my idea, and everyone agreed so we came" Gaton said
Huge TIME SKIP
It was time for the final game of the tournament. We were playing against the state champions, so the pressure was on. The other team won the first set, and they got all cooky about winning and the second set started. We ended up winning the second set and they got nervous. It was down to see who could get 15 points faster the score was 12-14 and I had to serve for the winning point. I heard all of my friends in the stands cheering me on but most of all I could hear Sadie, she was the loudest out of them all
I get ready to serve and wait for the signal, once I was giving the signal, I served the ball and got an ace making us win the game (an ace is when the ball hits the floor, and the opposite team doesn't touch it) all of my team cheered and ran to me, and we all hugged then the officials came over and gave us each a gold mettle and a trophy. We got a group photo with are metals and my friends ran over to me. I ran up to Sadie and hugged her "you did so good baby" she said, "Thank you" I said, "Yeah that was awesome" Gaton said "Thank you guys for coming you really didn't have to" I said
"Oh, come on it was much better than whatever I was going to do tonight" Noha said "how about we go out to eat to celebrate?" Clabe said "Sounds good but I'm going to change first" I said. As I walked over to the locker room my coach yelled my name "Y/N!" I turned to look at her "Yes?" I said, "I wanted to congratulate you, you played hard and well" she said I smiled and looked her in the eyes "Well it's because I have the best coach" I said, "Thank you but I someone I would like you to meet" she said as a trio walked over to us "Hi, Y/n were (Some professional team scouts) and we would love to have you on are team" on said I looked over at my Volleyball team and then my girlfriend and my coach
"It seems like the offer of a lifetime, but I think I'm going to stay whit my team" I said smiling at them and turning to go change. I walked out the locker room and my coach stopped me "Why did you turn them down?" she asked "With this team I feel right, and we have really good rhythm together" I said "I'm glad you're staying Y/n" she said hugging me. I hugged her back and she pulled away and said "You friends are waiting for you outside" I smiled at her "I'll see you next season" I said walking away
