Outside the OR.

Minho was standing in front of the OR. Then he was met with a panting Jin and Taehyung. They ran as fast as they can. "How is he?", Where they're the first question. " I don't know yet! They've been there for hours." Minho replied and gave a bottle of water to Taehyung. After Taehyung gulped the water, he passed it to Jin. Jin drank the water to the last drop. All three were just making eye contact. They were speechless. They were trying to handle the situation like grown-ups. They were trying to play chill. Quietly.

They were watching every Doctor's move. 'Please be okay! Please be okay!" Were all the chants that they say in their heads.

The Doctor was busy operating. Jimin was there, watching the Doctor remove the bullets from his body? Wait. What? How could he watch it himself being operated on if he is the one laying on that bed? Did he die? It's a tell-tale that a 'soul' departs from its body during a near-death experience. But in Jimin's case, he is in a zone called 'astral projection' as Merriam Webster defines it, it's the ability of the person's spirit to travel to distant places. And in this scenario, Jimin has opened a door 'again'. And this time is to watch himself being operated.

How could Jimin do it? Long before having a child, and marrying his ex-husband Jungkook, Jimin discovered it himself. In his younger days, he remembers waking up in the morning, feeling tired, or thirsty. He will tell bits of the story to his 'Abuela(grandmother) that he went to a different place. A place where it was mostly beautiful, and the places look all perfect and surreal. And then he woke up, it was as if you were in a deep sleep.   Jimin somehow learned to control it, especially when he likes what he saw, he will put himself to sleep and will go back to where he left off. They say this is 'dark' but Jimin has no clue about it being dark. To Jimin, it feels as if he is in fantasy land.

"Alright!" Careful, careful! said the Doctor at the back who was assisting the Surgeon." Got it!" said the Surgeon who took the bullet from Jimin's foot and the one from his shoulder. 'Great! Let's go and clean him up now! said the Doctor in charge.

5 PM

The operation finished. The Doctor in charge got out. "Mr. Kim?" the Doctor announced. Taehyung and Jin got to the Doctor as soon as they heard their last name. "How is He?" Jin and Taehyung said in chorus. "Well, the bullets have been removed! Good thing that none of his nerves that were linked to the babies, were undamaged. He should be fine! He will need a complete rest! I got extra careful because of the babies inside him! here, these are the medicines that he needs to take! those are safe! That won't have an impact on the 'twins'." Aww, Thank God! Thank you, Doc!". "No worries, just wait here, he will.be transferred to his room for recovery! the Doctor said and took his leave.

After the operation finished. The astral projecting Jimin went back to his body. His normal pregnant self was in deep sleep. " Love? I was worried about you!"   said Jin looking at him all concerned. It's now 9 PM. He is slowly waking up from 'his sleep.' The operation finished at 5 PM. Jimin felt thirsty. "Water, please?" Jimin said panting. "Only a little Love, but yes of course!" Jin said as he rose from his seat, he got a small amount poured into the plastic glass and slowly walked to Jimin to give him a sip. "Your Doctors were great! they were extra careful in taking off those bullets!" Jin said showing a faded smile as he ruffled Jimin's hair. "Awe, Thank God!' Jimin replied with his faint smile. " Where's Tae and Minho?" Jimin asked as he gave the plastic glass to Jin. Once we knew that you were safe. We agreed for them to watch over the kids. Minho and Taehyung went home 10 minutes after you got transferred to this room. Jin said as he walked back to the table.
"Oh, that's good! I miss them, Love!" Jimin said teary-eyed. "Shh, they'll be here tomorrow to visit, get some rest first, for you, for the twins." Jin got back and lightly touched the belly and kissed Jimin on his forehead. "I admire your courage and your dedication Love! Jin whispered into Jimin's ear. " It's alright! I just did what's right!" Jimin replied with tiredness visible in his voice. " Alright, go and get some sleep! I'll be here hmm. I love you, Love!, I'm so proud of you!" Jin whispered and Jimin slowly got back into his sleep.
