"10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 Happy New Year!" All Kims were yelling from their Roof deck as they welcomed New Year's Eve. The kids were jumping as they were taught that they will be taller if they jump welcoming the New Year's. The 2 Kim couples Jimin and Jin, Taehyung and Minho kissed, as they welcomed the year. Then each partner greeted one another. " Happy New Year 'Ney!" Jimin hugged Taehyung. " Happy New Year!" Taehyung replied in a hug with Jimin, and Minho and Jin did the same. " Happy New Year Jin!" Minho said enclosed in a hug, " Happy New Year to you too!" Jin said and smiled in a hug. All three kids formed a tiny circle and greeted one another. They were all happy with their eyes glowing as they watch the beautiful fireworks.

The 3 adults, Jin, Minho, and Taehyung were holding on wine glasses while Jimin was holding a red plastic cup same as the kids, drinking juice. " To the New Year, and more to come!" Jin raised his glass and they said "cheers". The coolest songs of 2022 were played that midnight as Jin DJ. Everyone was hopeful for the days to come.
At the Park's
Hoseok and Yoongi greeted each other. They hugged tight and made a deep kiss. " Happy New Year Babe!" Yoongi said to his loving husband. "Happy New year," Hoseok said a little teary-eyed. Then they looked at their kids, watching fireworks. Mr. and Mrs. Park were watching fireworks too, the same as Jimin's chosen venue. They were also in their Roof deck. They feel like it's the place to be for their family events. Yoongi DJ the event, the music that was played at random was Under the Influence by Chris Brown, him and Jimin's all-time favorite singer/ dancer.
After an hour or so, the fireworks were done. As Yoongi said, they'll visit Jimin and his family in their Mansion, and everyone in the Parks household hopped on to the 2 SUVs. They also brought Sky with them, they don't want their youngest to be left alone. They treat the Pup as their youngest 'son'. Hoseok have Sky on his lap and Yoongi drove to Jimin's.
The usual convoy arrived after 20 minutes. Jimin could hear his brother's car from the roof deck as the stereo was blasting. The guard on duty opened the gates and the 2 SUVs got in. Minho was downstairs as he grabbed a blanket, he welcomed Yoongi and the family and went with them to the roof deck. "Happy New Year!" Minho greeted everyone. "Happy New Year!" Hoseok said and showed his bright smile.
Everyone was partying on the Roof deck. And the kids were surprised to see Sky. The cousins played with the adorable pup. The adults grooved to the music. Had a few drinks and just chatted about anything. It's technically the 1st of January, and in a few hours, everything will change. "When will your launch be?" Yoongi asked Jin whose now sitting next to his heavily pregnant husband Jimin. " I haven't checked the schedule, but my manager said it will be around this week," Jin replied as he sipped on his wine. " I see, keep us posted so we can, you know, support your upcoming shows," Yoongi said as he swung his arm onto his husband's left shoulder. Then they just watched the few fireworks they had left for the night. Around 3 AM, the Parks decided to head home and call it a night. " Take care Jimin," Mrs. Park said as she hugged her son. " Kids, c'mon! it's getting late!" Hoseok said and the kids immediately ran downstairs. They were all tired from chasing Sky. "Happy New Year!" Hoseok said as he followed the kids around. Yoongi and his parents also bid farewell. " Taehyung and Minho hugged Mr. Park and they walked with them to the parking spot. " See you Dad!" Both said their goodbyes and they see them thru the gates. Jin helped Jimin stand from his seat, he knew he is tired from prepping everything.
