-.-.- Lexi -.-.-
I awoke the next morning itching at my neck. I got up and looked at the tall mirror in the corner. When I saw myself I nearly screamed. "How can I see myself?" I couldn't see the four bodies in the bed behind me. It had to do with being the Mweya. I examined my neck, where four marks sat together. It was a compass, but instead of the typical directions it had each of the boys initials. I looked at the boys asleep, I didn't suspect they'd be up for another two hours. I went to the main part of the cave, where I researched where we could move next.-.- Mike -.-
When I went home, I was met with my mom embracing me. "OH MICHAEL!" She sobbed out, holding me tight. "Where were you? I searched everywhere! We called the cops and..and...who's this?" Star and Laddie stood some ways away from me. I introduced them. Sam came running out, garlic around his neck. He looked at me hesitantly. I ran to him, embracing him. "Wait! Mike the garl-" when I didn't have a reaction he smiled. Whispering,"Your not a blood sucker!" I just chuckled. "Alexis, honey where are you?!" Mom yelled out. I think she had assumed we were together this whole time, which she was right, but we aren't now. We won't ever be. "Mom..Lexi isn't with us. She was here, right?" Moms face paled. "No..no she's not here. Mike you don't know where she is??" I thought back to the cave, to what she asked of me. "No mom she was supposed to be here."
-.- 1 year later -.- -.-.-Lexi -.-.-.-
"Dear Mike,
We are currently off the coast of Ireland. I believe it's an island called Rathlin. It's beautiful here. We've made quite the cozy little home. Thanks to my Mweya powers we found out that what my specialty is. I am a child of the earth, and the piece of humanity I gave back to the boys was sunlight. I also have great news!Your going to be an uncle!!! I currently have four little beans growing. We will catch up soon, I love you."
I didn't sign my name, I never did. We had built a new home in the caves of Ireland, my new earth affinity helped us with that. I can manipulate the world around us, moving and shifting the soil and rocks beneath our feet. We were tucked away from the world. Dwayne came to me, as I sat in my rocking chair. Thanks to the books Max had given us we found out a lot of things about the Mweya. The maximum number of mates we can have is up to 5. Even though we are technically the 'undead' the gift of humanity was the gift of the sun and offspring. I will never be pregnant with a single child, there will always be four. I was currently four months along. There were only six months to a vampire pregnancy. I was quite big, and although the ultrasound picture I was sending to Mike, the children had grown a lot since it was taken three months ago. I rubbed my big belly, each child fighting for room. Dwayne laid his head on my belly. "We will see you soon little ones, don't hurt your mommy." They kicked at him in response. Paul came in laughing with Marko, "Hey mommas how are we feeling today??" I smirked at them, "We are ok daddy. No complaints, although we are kicking up a storm." Marko came and laid his head on my swollen belly. Pointing to the babies, "This one's Dwayne's, Paul is underneath, mine is the on the right, squishing your ribs, and David's is underneath." No matter where the baby's where he could always tell. He leaned up and kissed me, "Did I ever tell you think you?" I laughed at him as he hugged me. "For...?" "Being our Mweya. Giving us this, and them." I cupped my hand around his, bringing it to my lips. "Always."
Dwayne got up, looking through the stack of mail. "Have you heard from David?" I nodded, grabbing his letter. "David said he'll be done in the states soon. He's just tying up some loose ends on one of the companies." Dwayne nodded, taking out the ledger. I know I had changed things, we no longer strictly lived in a cave.We owned companies, managed stock and grew our industry. The boys had a considerable amount of money and with stock investing, we were able to triple that in just a year. David had taken the reins, being the only one of us who didn't sucker into someone else. Each one of the guys and myself grew closer, every day. They even took turns for 'one on one' time. Today, was a Marko day.
Marko and I were walking along the shore, his arm firmly around me. We stopped to rest on a rock. Marko looked out at the water and the waves. "You know, I was the last one brought into the Lost Boys. " I looked at him, surprised. "I didn't, I don't know why I always expected you to have always been together." Marko smiled sadly, "No... they found me in a basement. I was being pimped out. My hair made them think I was 'Exotic'. When David found someone making girls turn tricks, He and the others followed the guy to his hideout. A bunch of us had just been moved, but I stayed. I was a 'favorite' for those around the L.A. area, so I stayed. They killed the man I was with, and David offered me a spot in the lost boys. I accepted and never looked back." I had tears in my eyes. I would've never guessed this about my sweet Marko. I reached out for his hand; He pulled me up into his chest. "Why tell me this now?" Marko smiled softly, "Because of these little guys. We never told you how we were turned, I'm sure we can't remember the date, but we all have a different story." I smiled at him, His eyes meeting mine, our lips met in the middle. I stayed out with Marko until the sun kissed the sky for the first time that day.
He looked at the mold of the sky. The sun sat in the middle; the orange flared around it melting into a soft pink before collapsing withing the blue sky. The soft white clouds speckled the sky. I laid my head on Markos shoulder, He softly stroke my back. "Life has changed so much since we met you, you've given us a completely different life. I always thought a family was off the table...but you, you gave it back to me. I love you Lexi." "I love you to Marko."
