So sorry it took me a while to get to chapter 4. I work and go to school so trying to do all that and find time to write can be a little exhausting. Please enjoy Chapter 4.

I woke up, started my morning shower routine, threw on a romper and some sandles and headed out the door. Monty had not texted me about the dress code for our date last night. I'm not going to lie I was a little nervous that he changed his mind. I walked a few doors down to my car. I normally park in front or in the driveway but one of my sisters stayed over last night so all my parking spots were taken. I opened the door and started putting my stuff into the back seat.
"You make anything look good." A voice said behind me, startling me and making me jump and hit my head on the door frame.
"Shit!" I grabbed my head.
"Oh shit, I'm so sorry." Monty chuckled.
"It's ok you just scared me." I laughed. Monty reached up to rub my head but he decided against it. Monty knew the one thing I hated was people touching my hair, even in a moment of pain.
"I'm sorry. I meant to text you last night but I was up late looking for the place I wanted to pick and then by the time I found it I fell asleep before I can text you the dress code."
"It's ok I figured you just canceled." I laughed, only half joking.
"I would never cancel on you." He smirked. There he goes again flooding my thongs.
"I would hope not." I blushed.
"The style is dressy." He said smiling. "I'm off at six and the reservation is at eight so I'll pick you up in front of your house about seven twenty."
"Ok. I'll be ready." I watched him hop in his car and drive off. I looked at my phone and realized I had ten hours to do what I needed to do. I got in the car and drove to Aaliyah's shop.
"Hey hunny." I said to Aaliyah as I walked into her shop and sat in her chair.
"Hey girly. Let me finish up this top coat and I'll be right over." She said as she worked on her client.
"Hey Tiana, can you come take my extensions out for me." I called to the assistant hairstylist.
"Yeah, you know I got you girl." She smiled as she walked over and started carefully cutting the tread on my extensions. Aaliyah owned a nail shop/hair salon. She was a master at both. Although she only did nails on certain days and hair on others. She also had two hairstylists renting booths from her and two nail techs. Aaliyah was the only person besides myself that I let do my hair. But she's been busy since opening her salon so I just do it myself, which I don't mind. I slay it every time. After all Aaliyah is the one who taught me. I do however let Tiana help take down my extensions but that's about it. She is very careful with the scissors and makes sure she cuts only the thread and she gets every last piece out too.
"Mmhmm, I know what you're in here for." Aaliyah said sitting in front of me and starting the water for my feet.
"And what is that?" I feigned confusion.
"Don't think I don't know you're going on a date with my brother." She smiled. Aaliyah has been trying to get me and Monty together since forever. She has always told me that I would become her sister. "You know Mont tells me everything. I was hoping you would've been the one to tell me."
