Hospital PT.2

A/N: Another Half-Assed chapter for y'all, this is horrible and the medical inaccuracies I can't even-

Spencer's P.O.V:

I woke up to cuddling with JJ and the sterile smell of hospital, Wait why am In a hospital?! 'Oh right JJ got hurt I remembered 'By Will' I started getting angry and body went rigid but then I remember who was right next to me and I relaxed, I then realized the Team would be wondering where we are so I carefully slipped out of the hospital bed, making sure not to wake up JJ, went outside and got my phone it.

My Phone was Blowing up with text messages from Emily, Rossi, Garcia and Derek

Emily:Where are you and JJ, everyone's really worried
Rossi:Hotch is asking about you and JJ
Garcia:Where are you munchkins, we're all missing you
Derek:Dude where the hell are you?!?!

I sighed and responded to them saying JJ was sick and I was taking care of ever and I forgot to call in
Not telling them about JJ's situation not knowing if she was comfortable or not

My phone lit up like a Christmas tree with flurries of texts asking whether Jayje was okay or not and if they could help

I responded telling them she was fine and it was just a bad case of the flu

And went back inside, JJ had already woken up
"Hey stranger" I smiled
"Hey"
"Are you okay, any pain?"
"Yeah a little"
"A little?"
"A lot" she admitted
"Should I call a doctor" I asked concerned
"No I'm fine"
"Jen..." I wasn't fully convinced
"Spence really I'm fine" she tried to reassure me
"Okay fine if you say so, but is there anything I can do to help?" I asked
"You could get me some jello"
"What flavors?"
"Strawberry and if that's not there then just get watermelon"
"Coming right up"

I went downstairs to the hospital cafeteria and saw they had both strawberry and watermelon but I couldn't choose so I just got both along with a spoon

I went back upstairs to JJ's Room
"I come bearing jello" I enthusiastically said as I came in "Thanks Spence" She grabbed the jello containers and spoon out of my hand
"They had watermelon and strawberry but I couldn't decide so I got both"
She opened the top and dug in with her spoon
She moaned in delight of the taste I was once again reminded of the night we shared and got flashbacks

"Hey Spence"
"Spencer"
"Earth to Spencer Reid"
"Spencer Snap out of it!"

I heard Jennifer briefly calling my name but assumed it was apart of my daydream but then I got louder and louder and I was brought back to earth

"Spencer Are You okay?"
"Yeah I'm fine"
"Are you sure, You just blanked out there for a second"
"No I'm fine, what were you saying again?"

"I was just asking about the team did you call them?"
"Oh I called them"
"Did you tell them about the..." JJ paused not knowing what to call it "Umm Situation?"
"No I just told them you were ill and I was taking care of you"
"Oh thanks, I don't think I'm ready to tell them"
"Yeah I didn't think you were but you're gonna have to tell them eventually"
"I know"

Awkward silence fell over us like a thick blanket

"JJ do you wanna umm..... Talk about last night?" I asked nervous
"I Don't want to-"
"Oh that's totally fine I understand you probably thought it was-"
"Spencer you didn't let me finish, I was saying I don't want to talk about it but It's better if we do it now or we'll never end up talking about it"

"Okay so about last night-" JJ started but got interrupted by the doctor coming in
"Miss.Jareau You're awake" The Doctor cheerfully said
"I'm Dr.Boswell, I'm the resident on your case"
"Hi" JJ replied
"How long have you been awake?"
"Umm A couple of minutes, probably 10"
"Okay Great, Who's this?"
"Ummm" 'quick, think of an excuse' "I'm her husband" I lied
"Okay that's great, I'm gonna need to run some tests to see if we missed any injuries is that okay with you"
"That's fine" I could tell JJ was nervous
"Okay great just sign these papers and I'll take you up to the lab"

Dr.Boswell gave her the forms and Jennifer quickly signed them

And she took JJ and told me to go wait outside and I did just that,
As soon as they came out we went back to her room

"Okay you do not have any injuries that we haven't taken care of except a concussion so we like to keep you in the hospital overnight"

"Oh that's fine"

"Okay great, just sign these forms and you'll be good to go"

The doctor handed her the forms and she quickly signed them again and handed them back to her

"Okay I'm gonna go, page me if you're in any pain" and she left

"Okay so About last night..." JJ started
