Kumori sits down on the fallen branch behind her mansion waiting for the swordsmens to come. Muchiro had just explained all about the mark and it was time for the hashira training.Leaves crunch and twigs snap as multiple footsteps come up behind the mansion.
Kumori:There you are, I was wondering when you all will come. Welcome to stealth training. Here's how it works. Think of it as a game of hide and seek. You all will hide and if I find you, you stay behind for another round but if you are able to stay hidden for five hours, then you pass. I wish you all the best of luck."
Tanjiro walks up to the group.
Kumori: Kamado, I'm hoping you heard the rules.
Tanjiro nods.
Kumori: Very well then, let training begin.
Kumori disappears as the slayers scramble to hide themselves. Tanjiro runs deep into the woods, using trees aa coverage. He could hear the other slayers getting found.
Tanjiro: If I keep going in the opposite direction of Kumori's scent, I should be able to hide myself for the five hours.
Five hours later
Kumori waits in front of her mansion as Tanjiro walks up to her
Kumori:Kamado, you passed my training session. I give you permission to move onto Mitsuri's training. I wish you well, young Kamado.
Tanjiro:Thank you Lady Kumori, I wish you the best.
Tanjiro turns and starts to walk away.
Kumori: Kamado?
Tanjiro turns around.
Tanjiro(huh) Yes Lady Kumori?
Kumori pauses for a second.
Kumori: You and Nezuko should stop by sometime. Koichi misses you both.
Tanjiro smiles.
Tanjiro: Of course, after all of this is over, we would love to stop by.
Kumori: He would love that. Good luck, Tanjiro.
Tanjiro: Thank you Lady Kumori, bye.
Tanjiro walks off.
5 hours later
Kumori leans against the wall of her mansion, staring off into the woods. Muchiro walks up behind her.
Muchiro: Hey, Kumori.
Kumori turns to Muchiro
Kumori: Muchrio, what brings you here?
Muchiro: I wanted to propose a challenge. A duel
Kumori:(huh? Oh right. The Hashira are supposed to duel with each other as part of our training for the mark.) A duel huh.
Muchiro: Yes, just you against me.
Muchrio holds out a wooden sword towards Kumori
Kumori smirks before taking the wooden sword.
Kumori: I almost feel bad agreeing to this.
Muchiro: Are you calling me weak?
Kumori: I'm calling your bluff.
Muchiro: There is no bluff(Mist breathing: Fourth Form: Shifting forth slash)
Muchrio dashes forward and slashes quickly at Kumori. Kumori blocks the slash with her wooden sword
Kumori:(Shadows breathing: Second Form:Swift thrust)
Kumori thrusts her blade at Muchrio, who dodges it effortlessly. Kumori and Muchrio fights well into the afternoon, neither of them landing a single attack on each other. After a while, they mutually agreed to call it a draw.
Muchrio: I appreciate you taking up my challenge. I wish we could continue, but Sanmine has asked for me. We can continue our little duel later.
Kumori: I'll gladly take you up in that.
Muchrio smiles before making walking away. Kumori watches him walk away before Cho Chiro shakes her shoulder.
Cho Chiro: Lady Kumori?
Kumori turned, surprised.
Kumori: Oh, yeah. What's up Cho Chiro?
Cho Chiro: Do you mind if I ask you a personal question?
Kumori: Of course.
Cho Chiro: What does that boy mean to you?
Kumori pauses.
Kumori: He reminds me a lot about Kujo.
Cho Chiro: I see. You see him as a brother, just like you did Sir Kujo?
Kumori nods. Kumori sits on the stairs to her mansion and watches the sun set. Cho Chiro walks out of the mansion and behind Kumori.
Cho Chiro: Lady Kumori, Koichi was wondering if you wanted anything to eat.
Kumori shakes her head.
Kumori: I'm good, thanks for asking though. Tell Koichi to whip up something for you guys.
Kumori's crow flies up towards Kumori.
Kumori's crow: Caw! Caw! Emergency summon to Ubuyashiki mansion! Demon coming towards Master Kagaya!Caw! Caw!
Kumori hops up concerned.
Kumori (Shit!)
Kumori starts to run off
Cho Chiro: Be careful Lady Kumori!
Kumori: Don't worry Cho Chiro! I'll be back soon!
Kumori follows her crow towards the Ubuyashiki
mansion.
Kumori:(Come on, Hurry!)
Kumori comes close to the Ubuyashiki mansion when it suddenly exploded. Kumori stares helplessly as the smoke rises into the sky
Kumori:( No, no, no. Master!)
Kumori runs towards the mansion and meets the rest of the Hashira and Tanjiro in the middle. Kumori notices Muzan.
Kumori:(A demon. Did he cause this? Wait. Who's the other one?)
Gyomei:(yelling) It's Muzan. Muzan Kibutsuji is here. Even if you cut off his head, he won't die.
Kumori stares, flabbergasted.
Kumori:(This man.... The one who turned Kujo and killed father.... Kibutsuji....
Tanjiro grabs his sword from his scabbard.
Tanjiro(yells): Muzan!
The Hashira grew angry and all charge at Muzan
Kumori:(Shadow breathing: Sixth Form: Shadow Dance!)
All of the Hashira and Tanjiro jump towards Muzan. Muzan let out a smirk as Nakami opens the infinity castle underneath the demon slayer. All of the demon slayers fall through the infinity castle. Kumori falls through the castle, confused about what happened, a figure grabs her arm, she turns to see Amamia. Amamia looks at Kumori with a determined expression. Kumori nods as they fall through the infinity castle together.
