*Levi's POV of that night*
I know she told me to ignore whatever I heard tonight but I just couldn't, I heard yelling coming from her house. I heard her dad yelling at her then blows and then I heard her screams for her dad to stop. It broke my heart to hear my girlfriend hurting so bad. I had to text her to know if she was okay. I'd shown my parents the picture she sent me and read them everything she sent me. They agreed to help her and allow her to stay with us. They knew her parents for years. They never knew of her parents abusing her but I had more than text and pictures to prove they were because they heard the yelling and her screams too.
*later that morning*
*Paige's house*
Paige's alarm went off at 5:30 she had school at 7:30 and her and Levi would have to walk, but she'd need time to properly cover her cuts and bruises thankfully it was the last day and they didn't have a full day they graduated today they'd be home by ten thirty, she covered her cuts and bruises, she put on a decent black dress with gems around the neckline and paired it with black heels a smokey eye makeup look and a deep red lipstick. She put on a necklace her grandfather gave her right before he died, she grabbed her shoes and backpacks and phone, charger and headphones she'd have to put on her shoes when she met Levi outside. She snuck quietly down stairs hoping her dad and mom were sleeping, thankfully they were still sleeping she left without looking back. She texted Levi she was outside and she sat on her steps to put her heels on, Levi walked up on the sidewalk, she held up one finger and stood up, straightened her dress out and flipped her house off and whispered "fuck you too, goodbye" she walked up to Levi kissed him and they started walking to school, Levi was in a black suit and tie she said "you look handsome babe" he smiled and wrapped his arm around her waist he said "thanks baby you look stunning" she smiled and said "I try but thank you baby" she turned her phone on and played music quietly the song "iris" by the good too dolls she had a cover of Dinamite and breaking benjamin playing.
She stumbled a little as everything around her started spinning fast her hearing became distorted as she heard the song and then Levi's voice saying "baby? Are you okay? Baby answer me" she shook it off and said "huh, what'd you say babe" she regained focus and he stopped walking and said "I said are you okay baby you looked disoriented and pale" she switched the song on her phone and said "yeah I'm fine baby I just got a little dizzy" he kissed her head and said "are you sure you're okay because if not we can skip graduation and go home, we have that option babe they'll just mail us our diplomas" despite walking for ten minutes they weren't far from his house.
She said "Yeah I'm fine babe…" her hearing became disoriented again and she stopped walking and her hands went up to her head as she stood there trying to shake this feeling off. He came in front of her and said "come on babe let's go to my house you need to lay down, your pale as a ghost and you don't look good we'll have them mail us our diplomas" she couldn't hear a word he said but he grabbed her hand walking back with her and she followed.
They made it to his porch and she whispered "babe.. I-i don't feel right" he turned to face her and she looked exhausted and like she was gonna pass out if he didn't get her inside. He said "come on let's get you inside babe" he opened the door and his parents were in the kitchen his mom came to the front of the house and saw them she said "is everything okay honey?" Levi said holding on to her arm "no we were walking to school and she looked pale and disoriented I brought her here I don't think she's doing good mom" then… everything went black she remembered being in his living room and then everything went black, her body went limp and Levi swung his other arm around her to catch her, he carried her to the couch and his dad came in and said "what happened son?" His mom said "they were walking to school and he said she looked pale and disoriented so he brought her here" his mom went to get a cold wash cloth as Levi took her heels off and put her legs up on the couch, his dad went and got a glass of water for her, Levi was surprisingly calm on the outside but on the inside he was praying she was okay and that she'd wake up.
