He seen that there was a bruise on her thigh and he knew there was more than just that his blood boiled, he sighed and started pacing running his hands through his hair excessively his mom noticed his anxiousness and said "honey calm down she'll be ok I know what your thinking but your dad has it handled with her dad she needs you right now" he exhaled and started to cry he whispered "if only I had known sooner… " his mom said "honey don't do that Don't blame yourself for this it's not your fault I promise" as soon as she said that Paige woke up in a panic Levi rushed over to her and kneeled down, he said "hey hey baby you're okay you're with me at my house you're safe" she exhaled and whispered "I'm sorry…" his mom came in with a glass of water and said "here drink this honey it'll help" she nodded slightly and drank the water.
His mom was a doctor, so she checked her wounds and things like that, Levi held her hand and looked away when he needed to, his mom said "the extent of your injuries is bad honey but they should heal in the next few days" she nodded slightly and said quietly "i-is it okay if I shower..?" His mom said "of course honey you're more than welcome too honey make yourself at home you're safe here" Levi took her stuff up to his room and helped her upstairs he laid her clothes out and showed her the bathroom, he kissed her head and said I'll be in my room okay baby the we'll go down stairs and eat breakfast if you want to okay love?" She whispered "okay.." She got in the shower and cried softly as the water hit her sore body, she started to cry as memories of her dad flashed through her head.
An hour had passed and the flashbacks were crippling her. She started to cry even more as her body slipped down the wall and she sat on the ground of the shower the hot water hitting her she pulled her knees up to her chest and cried. Levi knocked on the door and said "baby are you okay?" He didn't get an answer he ran to get his mom he said "mom I think some things wrong she's been in the shower for an hour and she didn't answer when I knocked on the door" his mom went upstairs and knocked on the door she said "honey are you okay in there?" His mom (Leslie) heard her whimper, Leslie opened the door and steam poured out, she grabbed a towel and wrapped Paige in it Paige cried even harder Leslie said "you're okay honey, you're safe here he can't hurt you" Paige cried "I'm sorry I'm so sorry" Leslie hugged her and said "you have nothing to be sorry for honey" she calmed down and Levi left her clothes on the counter and sat on his bed waiting for her, Leslie went down stairs to cook breakfast.
She got dressed slowly and she threw her hair up in a messy bun and she looked at herself in the mirror the gash on her head her arms covered in bruises she looked away from the mirror and opened the bathroom door, Levi's head shot up and he smiled softly and said "feel better baby?" She smiled and hugged him she said "yes thank you babe" he hugged her back and kissed the top of her head and said "you're welcome baby" they went downstairs to eat.
