Once she calmed down he said "are you hungry or anything babe?" She said softly "no not rn babe" he turned on a movie and turned the ac on he said "it should cool off soon baby" she took her sweater off and uncovered she said "I'll be back I need to use the bathroom" she went and splashed her face with cold water and ran her hands through her hair, she didn't feel exhausted anymore but she didn't know what she felt exactly.
She went back in the bedroom and Levi fell asleep on his phone she smiled and took his phone and put it on the bedside table she covered him up and kissed his head she whispered "goodnight baby sweet dreams" she went down stairs and sat on the porch swing she looked over at her house and it looked completely empty and lifeless. There was caution tape everywhere her parents were finally put away and she was safe. She laid back on the porch swing and let it rock back and forth. The movement calmed her anxiety down immensely.
A while later Levi woke up and saw her outside with her eyes closed playing music softly on her phone the song "hold on till may" by Pierce the veil Feat Lindsey Stamey played quietly while the swing rocked back and forth. He quietly came out and lifted her legs to sit down and put her legs on his lap. She opened her eyes and smiled when she saw it was Levi, he rubbed his hand up and down her leg in a comforting way and he felt her relax even more as her phone played music. They didn't speak to each other, they just enjoyed each other's silent company. They stayed like that for about 2 hours and they enjoyed it.
Paige was at peace knowing she was safe finally she felt loved and like she belonged when she was with Levi.
