Legolas's point of view:

After I left my father on the roof dumbfounded, I darted to Emarilia's room. I am NEVER going to do anything ever again that will make her think that I hate her. This was a mistake that I will never repeat again.

I knocked lightly on her door twice, notifying her that I was coming in. I stepped through the doorway and closed the door behind me slowly so I would not startle her.

Emarilia was in bed, curled up under the blanket, holding a small amount of the soft fabric in her tiny hand, clutching it to her chest, trying to hide her quivering lips.

I filled with sorrow and slowly made my way next to her, carefully sitting on the bed. She saw me, but didn't say anything. I pulled the blanket away from her face, and tucked a loose strand of her hair behind her ear.

She now looked up at me, and tears filled her eyes.

"Come here" I cooed, spreading out my arms

A little wail escaped her lips and she crawled into my lap, wrapping her tiny arms around my neck, giving me a tight hug.

I held her tiny figure close and buried my face in her hair. I felt her shaking against my chest as she let her tears fall. I held her tighter and kissed the top of her head.

"A-Are you s-still mad at m-me ada?" She asked

Tears filled my eyes "My flower, I was never mad at you. I love you with all my heart, and nothing can ever change that. I'm sorry I got so upset back there, I overreacted. You have done absolutely nothing wrong darling. I'm so, so sorry for upsetting you, can you forgive me?"

"I forgive you ada, I love you" She whispered

"I love you more" I stated, pulling back and wiped her tears, kissing her cheeks.

She giggled softly.

"Aww, there's that smile" I cooed, lightly pinching her cheeks.

"I've been thinking about what you said, and I think that it would be wonderful to have a feast for my sister." I stated suddenly

"Really ada?!" She squealed looking at me with wide eyes

I chuckled softly "Yes really. We will start planning tomorrow" I said, kissing her forehead.

"Thank you ada!" Emarilia exclaimed, hugging me again "I-I just wish th-that I could've met her...." she added, sorrow in her voice

"I wish you could've met her too, I'm sure that you two would've been the best of friends" I said sadly

"Le melin ada"

"Le melin" I whispered, laying down on my back with Emarilia on my chest. I pulled the covers over us and ran my fingers through Emarilia's hair as we drifted off to sleep.

Emarilia's (Legolas's sister) point of view:

I have been restless all day, waiting for nighttime to come so I can contact the Illúvatar. I tried to take naps during the day, but it didn't work. Elandorr is worried about me, causing me to constantly assure him that I'm perfectly fine.

It was finally time for bed and I quickly changed, slipping into bed before Elandorr. When he entered our bedroom and saw me all ready, he chuckled and shook his head.

He kissed me goodnight and I did the same.

I flipped over and closed my eyes, waiting to fall asleep, but Elandorr's voice dragged me back to reality.
