"What?" Steve mumbled. He watched Alexis' hand fly in front of his face, waving him off. He just shook his head, knowing he'd ask later. The group followed Jonathan out the front door, standing on the porch as they watched the street light flicker.

"I think it's her," Alexis whispered to herself.

"Where's it going?" Nancy asked.

"I don't think that's the monster," Alexis told her.

Jonathan looked at the blonde, silently asking if she thought the same thing. The small nod was all he needed, a small smile breaking out onto his face. Alexis looked down to see red seeping through her shirt. She quickly moved her jacket to cover the stain, buttoning the bottom buttons. She didn't need them worrying about this, they still needed to find Will.

"So, uh, we killed that thing. Right?" Steve asked, breaking the silence that had resonated between the four teens.

"I sure as hell hope so, Harrington," Alexis answered. All four teens let out a shaky chuckle, hoping to ease some of the tension. Alexis started to giggle. This caused a chain reaction between the remaining three. In a few short moments, all four teens were laughing up a storm.

Alexis leaned up against Steve, feeling his chest rise while he laughed. She shivered a bit, causing Steve to chuckle at her specifically.

"You cold?" Steve asked rhetorically, a small laugh leaving at the end of the sentence.

"Yeah, just a little," she giggled. She was getting a little light headed, but she thought it was from the laughing and all the adrenaline leaving her system.

"Should we go check on the kids? Or hold down the fort incase it somehow comes back?" Alexis asked, leaning against Steve for stability. She was getting dizzy. "Uh, guys." Her legs gave out slightly, causing Steve to drop his bat and grab her. Her breathing was rapid. She was only giving short, shallow breaths.

"Woah, Reed. You good?" Steve asked as he resituated his grip so he could hold her up.

"I, uh, I don't think so Stevie," her responses were slightly airy.

"You're really pale, Alexis," Nancy pointed out, worry laced in her voice. Even with the support of Steve, Alexis' legs gave out, Steve stumbling a bit at the complete limping of the girl.

"Okay, Alex. It was funny at the Radio Shack but not right now," Steve told the girl, hoping this was a poor excuse of a joke. He looked down to see her breathing was more rapid, eyes darting everywhere. "Alexis?"

"Steve, lay her down," Nancy told him. He did so, noticing the small stain on her jacket.

"Oh god," he whispered, causing Nancy to perk up. She watched as Steve unbuttoned the jacket to reveal a blood soaked shirt. "Oh god!"

"Alexis!" Nancy and Jonathan cried, dropping down to be next to the girl. Steve pushed the jacket out of the way, showing the group the source of the blood. Three large gashes across her torso, starting right above her belly button and stretching to the right. Steve immediately started putting pressure on the gashes, ignoring the groan of pain coming from the girl.

"Someone call 9-1-1. Now!" Steve ordered, keeping his eyes trained on Alexis.

"Come on, Alex. Stay awake. Come one," Steve pleaded, looking between her face and the spot he had his hands pressed against.
