The mission begins

(Wow guys long time no see. Im back to finish what i started!!)

*Emilys POV*
I lay in this bed wondering when and if I'll ever open my eyes and see the real world again. I can hear Carmen beside me on the phone with my dad, shes crying. "No I wasn't with her and i should have been. You should come out here and see her" "What do you mean no shes 16 and shes your damn daughter". When the call ends I listen to my best-friend break down in tears. "Em please wake up. Em i need you I'm sorry i should have been there. I let you down again I'm sorry". I want to break and scream and hug her but I'm stuck, I'm stuck I'm this state i cant get out of. Then her phone rings and she starts to talk quietly. "I thought you forgot about us. When is the last time she was seen... you don't think shes coming here do you?" I wonder who she could be talking about and who she could be talking to, but then i hear her say. "You need to come here and talk to Emily and explain to her now before something bad happens." I lay here in a black hole confused and scared and alone. Who's after me?

*Carmens POV*

I sit in Emilys hospital room and watch her lifeless body hoping for her to move. I just got off the phone with Tyler. You see a few years ago Emily met Tyler in a park near her house. He was like an older brother to her. They were attached at the hip. But one day Tyler was in a coffee shop a few miles from Emilys house when his phone started to ring. It was Emilys mom and she had been tracking Tylers phone in hopes to find Em. Tyler called me and we both were worried that her mother only wanted to contact her in hopes for money or to hurt her. We decided it would be best if Tyler went MIA and left Emily alone. She was heartbroken and still wonders where he is. I feel so bad lying to her but its only to protect her. I love Emily and as i still here staring at her lifeless body i wonder whats to come for this sweet innocent girl.

*Corbyn's POV*

Daniel and I jump in an Uber and head over to the hospital. When we get there Jonah is sitting in the waiting room alone. "Wheres Tate?" I ask, he jumps and breaks out of his staring spell. "She got called into work". I look at Daniel and then back to Jonah. "Lets go check on Emily and Carmen and find out what the hell is going on". They both follow me down the hall and into Emilys room. Daniel flinches as the sight of her pale lifeless body, i look over at him and reach down and give his hand a light squeeze. "How is she Carmen?", Jonah asks placing his hand on her shoulder. Carmen sits there and doesn't say a word. She stares at Emily and I can't help but to get a sick feeling in my stomach. Then the silence breaks when Carmen says, "her mom is coming to find her and theres nothing I can do to save her. This is all my fault. I let her go. I left her out of my sight and i left her there and now everything that happened to her 8 years ago will come back to haunt her!" Carmen lets her head fall into her hands. Daniel walks towards her and kneels down in front of her. "I may not know you. And i may not know Emily but i know whats shes been through and I know damn well that she is the strongest girl I've met. So while her body fights for her we need to get out of here and find her mom and fix everything for her." Daniel takes her hand and shes lets out a weak smile. She stands up and looks back at Emily. "I know i haven't know you guys long but lets get out of here and solve yet another mission." I say. We make our way out of Emilys hospital room after Carmen leaves a kiss on her forehead. We walk down the hallway and as were making our way around the corner a tall curly headed boy, around 19 walks by me wearing scrubs. "Avery?" I say in shock. "Besson! What the hell are you doing here dude!". Jack Avery. My best friend all through middle school. He moved away freshman year and I hadn't heard from him since. "You guys look like you need a drink follow me" he says. We walk to the cafeteria and he explains everything and so do we. "Well i get off in 15 minutes. Meet me at the entrance then and I'm gonna help you guys figure all this out. I turn to Daniel and smile and he rests his hand on my thigh. I study his face and every part of it. I haven't quite figured out whats so different about him but damn I sure want too.
