The inner child in me still yearns to impress you,
her tears seem to never dry for you.
She still loves you even if you hurt her.
She still wonders why mommy doesn't see her as her good girl anymore.
She still needs mommy but I don't know how to tell her that mommy doesn't love her anymore.
