|chapter 27|

ARIANA

"I'm telling you guys, he wore the look of disgust on his face. Honestly I can't blame him." I mumbled as I roughly ran my hands over my face.

Vic flopped down on the bed and turned to look at me. "Seriously Ariana, bitch you know I love you and all. I'm always team you, but I gotta admit you were wrong for this one boo."

Courtney nodded agreeing. "I agree, with you Vic."

"Wow thanks guys. I really feel the love and support here."

"Oh Ari don't be like that. You know we have your back and we love and support you babe. But when you're wrong. You're wrong." Victoria said as she grabbed my hand looking me dead in the eyes.

Of course I knew that they were only looking out for me. The saddest part is, is that they were right. I mean it's been a couple of days since things blew up between Ace and I, and I can't even get him to look at me. He even leaves the room when I walk in, so I know things are bad.

And I haven't exactly tried to push the issue, that's mainly cause I'm scared of what his reaction will be.

"Ari you've never said anything like that in your life. Why would you now?"

I took a deep breath and looked away.  "Honestly, I don't know. It was just an in the moment thing, and I didn't even mean it the way that it came out." I sighed deeply placing my chin in my hand. "But of course once I said it I couldn't take it back."

This is the most miserable I've ever felt. My heart was literally aching and I didn't know how I could fix it.

My feelings for Ace have been there before I even met him. But when finally got the chance to actually be with him, things changed for me. Especially when I realized I would have to continue to share him with Dove.

I'm just so attracted to him that I don't want anything getting in the way of it. So when I heard about her having a miscarriage.. It wasn't that I was happy about that- I just realized that it meant she wouldn't have to be apart of his life anymore.

"Ariana, I know you. So I know you're gonna work this out with him."

Vic nodded giving me a smile. "I agree, but you really can't just expect for things to go back to normal over night. Not until he's ready."

When will he be ready?

___

"Hi guys-" I sighed as I sat down at the table with the girls. As soon as I did. Ace stood up with his food and got up to walk away.

"Yo, Ace dude. Where you going?"

"Yeah man you just sat down."

I stared back at him hoping that he would at least look over at me. But of course he didn't. All he did was shrug and look down. "I'm going to check on Dove before she has to leave. Wasn't that hungry anyway."

Courtney grabbed my hand from across the table making me look at her. "Go talk to him."

"But he hates me." I whispered softly trying not to let a single tear fall.
