I looked down at my Apple Watch seeing that it was almost 5 o'clock in the evening. I've been in the studio since about 6 am. My eyes are so damn heavy right now, I feel like I could just pass out any second.
It's a nice feeling-being in the studio. Especially alone, being able to get all my feelings and emotions out. But after a while I start to get all anxious. That's sort of how I'm feeling right now.
As I removed my headphones from over my head, I stepped out of the booth.
"Alright bro, I guess I'll head out now." I spoke in a low-groggy voice.
My engineer Max nodded and turned to dap me up. "Alright bro, you sound exhausted. Go get you some rest, and be safe out there. I'll get these tracks fixed up and sent over to you asap."
I nodded as I walked out heading to my matte black G wagon. Not even a minute later my phone began ringing throughout the speakers
"Yo!" I shouted through the truck as I answered the phone.
"Ace, we got Versace and New Balance wanting to talk over a deal with you." Scooter said making me raise my eyebrows.
Damn. Versace AND New balance, want me??
I guess he noticed how shocked I was and he nodded. "Come on kid, don't be too shocked. You're a superstar now, with amazing, real talent. An awesome, growing fanbase and you're not bad looking. Of course we're gonna have all type of heavy hitters bidding over you."
"Damn." I sighed shaking my head. "I guess I just have to get used to all the hype."
Scooter chuckled. "Hell yeah, get used to it. This is your life now!"
"Yeah-wait so I can't take both deals?"
He sighed. "You can of course. We'll just work around the schedules when the time comes."
I nodded even though he couldn't see me and listened as he went over a bunch of other "business" stuff with me. Plans for my own tour were in the works, and I'm really excited about it!
My very own tour! Fuck yeah!
"Alright buddy, I just wanted to catch you up on some things. But we will talk real soon about the rest of your new album and tour."
"Fuck yes! You know I'm ready to work scooter."
"You're always ready to work kid. For now, enjoy some time off. Spend some time with friends, hell go on vacation. Because once tour starts, it's constant go."
