Once she was in the Boonchuys driveway she took a couple breaths and stood on the porch hoping for the best.

She then started to knock on the door. It slowly started opening as Mrs. Boonchuy peeked her head out.

"Marcy?" Said Mrs. Boonchuy, surprised.

"Good afternoon, Mrs. Boonchuy, is Anne home?" Marcy asks as she tries to peek behind her.

"Yes she is. Would you like to see her?" Mrs. Boonchuy replied.

"Yes please! I-if you don't mind that is.." Marcy says, almost a little too excitedly, while fidgeting with her fingers.

"I don't mind at all she is in her bedroom you can go see her if you'd like" Mrs. Boonchuy says in reply, stepping out of the way so Marcy can come in.

"Thank you so much Mrs. B!" Marcy says quickly as she then begins to quickly walk up the stairs to Anne's room.

Marcy is a little worried as she walks down the hallway to Anne's room. She's hesitant to knock on Anne's door, so she took a second before she gently knocks.

"Knock"

"Knock"

"Come in." Anne says from inside the room sounding a little upset but still in a kind yet calming tone.

The door opens slowly to reveal a girl shyly looking away, with midnight black hair.

"H-hi Anne." Marcy said softly in a low tone.

"Marcy? I thought you didn't want to come over anymore or something." Anne says in shock.

"You goofball I said I was in detention..But I am sorry I should have texted sooner I probably made you upset or made it seem like i was avoiding you.. and I totally get if you don't want to still hangout.." Marcy rambled on.

"Marbles it's okay, I'm not mad at all, I honestly just thought you went to hangout with Sasha or something. You can come into my room by the way." Anne said with a warm smile that made Marcy's stomach flutter.

Marcy was a little upset that Anne would think she would choose Sasha over her. But shook it off.

The raven haired girl then walked closer to the brunette. Marcy awkwardly sat down next to her before grabbing both of Anne's hands.

"Anne, I wouldn't ever ditch you, trust me." Marcy spat out making sure Anne knew.

Anne smiled from ear to ear at her honesty.

"You're right, I don't know why I even thought that." Anne said with a small chuckle.

Marcy then hugged Anne. She was taken back for a moment but hugged back. She enjoyed the warmth of her friend.

Anne then pulled back "So Marbles, anything you want to do?" She asked, a little bored.

"I dunno, we could watch a movie, or we could play a board game. Maybe even a video game!" Marcy said enthusiastically, her voice rising with excitement.

"Hmm, I mean I suppose we could play video games." Anne said knowing it would make her friend happy.

Marcy tried to hold in her excitement.

"Really? Okay! Which one? There's so many things we could play, I mean so many possibilities." Marcy said happily.

"Well I mean I am the master at video games so no matter what we play I will most definitely win." Marcy added confidently.

Anne nudged her shoulder.

"Hey! I'm actually pretty decent." Anne said, turning her head away in a jokingly manner.

"Oh, really? At what?" Marcy said giggling.

"Well- uhm..Mario Kart! Yeah I'm like the best at that but we don't have to play since you will most definitely get beaten." Anne said with a confident smile.

"Oh really? Okay then let's play." Marcy said, half expecting to back down.

"Okay and if you lose then you have to tell me one of your biggest secrets!" Anne said.

Marcy got a little nervous at the thought of that, especially thinking that she had many secrets. So many late night thoughts and she wasn't sure if she wanted to tell Anne. But she loved a good competition.

So after a minute Marcy responded, "You got yourself a deal!"

I think that's a good place to end this chapter.
