She pinched her arm lightly to make sure this wasn't just a dream.

After feeling a sharp-shooting pain, she smiled satisfactorily. No, this indeed wasn't.

It was now close to half-past nine, and Lisa was still... with her?

Chaeyoung had spent the majority of her life, thinking that she was, quite frankly- boring. She was just a boring blonde (not a real one anyway), whose entire personality was about her being gay and hating mint-chocolate ice cream. The longest conversation she had with people who weren't obliged to listen to her (like her family per se) only lasted for 15 minutes max. But Lisa had been strolling around the town with her for the past two hours and didn't look like she had plans of departure anytime soon.

"And then, I survived there on my own. Without food or water for three days! Not to mention, the constant threat of the giant beasts!..." Lisa nodded, pretending that she was believing the utter bullshit the lady on her left was spewing.

Okay, maybe she did get a little carried away, but chaeyoung's life wasn't that interesting. Recently, she had read in an article somewhere that, to make someone fall for you, you need to pique their interest in you on your first meeting.

Considering that their first meeting was months ago and in order to catch up, Chaeyoung assumed that she would need to put in twice the amount of lies.

So far, Lisa hadn't spat on her face, pushed her to the ground, and yanked her hair. So Chaeyoung thought she was good to go for now. But alas, a person can only take so much nonsense in one stroll, and therefore, Lisa stopped in her tracks.

Looking straight into Chaeyoung's eyes, she simply said, "It's getting late. Jennie must be worried... How about I text you tomorrow? Then you can continue with your story!"

"Wait, but you didn't get to the part where I wrestle a dinosaur and turn all men into snails- "

Stopping mid-sentence, with a completely new expression of distaste, she asked in an annoyed voice. "Who's Jennie?"

"We're very close. She's like the peanut butter to my jelly!"

"Oh."
