"And her name is JENNIE! Huh, the classic homewrecker name. God, I bet she likes mint-choco ice cream and smothers red lipstick on her botox lips."
"Don't you think you may be getting just a tad bit carried away? I mean they're only roommates and you don't even know the girl..." Jaehyun replied thoughtfully.
"Whose side are you on Park Jaehyun? Me or that... that... uggh!"
Was Chaeyoung overacting? Maybe. But that didn't change the fact that she and Lisa were made for each other. I mean Chaeyoung is an Aquarius and Lisa's an Aries! It doesn't get more meant-to-be than that.
She had taken Mina's advice and had not been to the parlor for at least a week now, but the side effects of not seeing Lisa was really getting to her head at this point. Mina had said that she should not try to please her or even talk to her for a while. And if the girl was really interested, then she would be the one who would reach out.
But so far, no one except her childhood friend, concerned father, and the over-the-top employee had reached out to her.
Don't get it mixed up, Chaeyoung wasn't some CEO or anything. She was just the head of this dumbass club she had started four years ago.
It was more or less established for the sole reason of her getting merit points on her college applications which she had sworn (she wishes she didn't now) to get into without her parent's help. Needless to say, she still didn't get in.
What she was left with, was a nineteen-year-old individual with a seething passion for stone skipping. Her club was just a run-down bakery that was placed on the shore of the city beach. And she wasn't a very good head, to say the least. Her last visit to the place was around three months ago and she couldn't care less about it even now. Six idiots had enrolled in the club for now and Sunwoo had just called her up to say that there were now seven of them.
She sometimes felt bad that she never did anything for the club nor did she ever pay the boy properly but he still took care of everything. His shiny eyes and 'please noona' was probably the only reason the club still existed.
Grabbing her things, she was getting ready to walk out of the café.
"Chaeyoung sit down."
"How about no?"
"Park Chaeyoung sit the fuck down."
"Okay."
