  "dad, who the hell are these assholes?" he asked.

"shit." the umbrellas said in union

"ben?" thana asked as she attempted to walk towards him but was pulled back by diego.

"is that really you?" luther asked.

"and who are the weirdos on the balcony?" diego shouted, making sure they could hear.

"they are the sparrows." reginald announced. "my children."

it felt like the ground shook as they stood. there's growing tension between the two academy. but, thana still couldn't believe that the boy she loved is standing infront of her, very much alive.

"i'm sorry what do you mean your children? that's not possible old man." five argued.

"of course it is! i think i'd know, wouldn't i?"

"everybody else could see ben, right?" klaus asked. poor thing.

"cute hat, sundance." ben said and klaus tipped his hat.

"they call themselves the umbrella academy, a group of scheming, perfidious, malcontents who accosted me in the fall of 1963 when i was away on business in dallas. be warned, they claim to be my spawn." the old man said warning his children.

"claim?" look, five, what the hell is going on?" allison asked.

"i don't know yet, but it's concerning." the oldest brother replied to his sister.

"and for your information, we are not going to choose you to be our father if we had the choice." thana fired back. she doesn't like the way he described them.

"is he telling the truth?" the one they assumed to be the leader asked.

"not the part about us being perfidious." vanya said.

"no, we're amateur-fidious, at best." klaus butted in.

"but we are his children. this is our house."

"yeah, yeah. we uh- we grew up here."luther explained.

"yeah, we grew up here." the guy with the busted face repeated mocking him as his siblings snicker.

"i kind of think we would have noticed you." the girl who looks the nicest in the group said. luther tho looked at her with adoration.

"hi. i'm luther."

"none of you belong here." allison said raising her voice.

"oh! well, then, i guess we'll just pack our bags and move out." the girl with glasses said with sarcasm. what took them of guar was when the box shaped orb started talking. which once again made them laugh.

"you slay me, chris." ben said instead of laughing.

"i wasn't expecting company. this is the best i could do on short- short- short notice." grace said holding a plate of cookies.

"mom." diego uttered.

"mom? she's a robot, you perv." says one of the sparrow.

"she's not just a robot." thana said full of rage.

grace is a mother and nothing less.

"hey, don't you call him that." luther said defending his brother.

"or what?" ben asked.

"come closer and find out." thana warned while she made a ball of fire on hands and as her eyes turned vermilion. "calamares for lunch doesn't sound bad."

"thana! take it easy." vanya pleaded not wanting for this whole thing to be bigger that it is.

"you really think i'm threatened?" ben asked with a stupid smug on his face.

it all felt odd for thana. it's so not like ben. the person standing infront of her is not her ben.

"oh you should be." they both stood forward as they argue.

"ben stand down." says marcus. that's when they both realized that the whole room in arguing. "enough! i don't know what circus you people escaped from or how you got pass our security, but we're done here. you got 30 seconds to get out of our house."

"and if we don't?" allison challenged.

"then we'll have to settle this the old-fashioned way." marcus suggested.

"look, we just fought a literal army. okay? this doesn't need to get ugly. let's all just calm down and let's talk." vanya asked.

"psst. benerino. you look so much better alive than you do dead. doesn't he, thanabear?"

"klaus." said five warning his brother to be more cautious with his words.

"nah. the asshollery cancels the alive part out." she replied casually. it wasn't the reply the umbrellas were expecting. tho they know that the girl hides her pain with words. "and also the haircut. it makes him look like a chicken." she said earning a laugh from some of the umbrellas.

"what the hell did you just say?" ben asked with frustration.

"why? can't you handle criticism, honest criticism?" she fired back.

"come on, come on. stop with all the hostility, mr. grumpy pants." klaus said walking towards him. "oh wow, nice scar. muy macho."

"shut your mouth!"

"you shut your mouth and just hug your brother." klaus was gonna hug him but ben punched him instead sending him backwards.

"hey! what the hell? you didn't have to do that." luther said having his brothers back.

"oh, i'm pretty sure i did!"

"that's right. he did." said the guy that has his face covered with some sort of scars.

"hey! get back!" marcus said trying to keep the peace.

and it was all chaos...
