The morning came and went fairly quickly as you were quite busy with the end of university work seeing as it was your last year. Armin did the usual like going to work and then complaining about it at home.

You also realised you had gotten your period which made you groan at the sight of the blood. Trudging off to the bathroom to sort yourself out. Armin just arrived home wondering where you were when he saw the blood that stained some of the bed that made him realise what happened when he took the sheet to wash it after grabbing you a sandwich and some painkillers.

*knock knock*

"Y/N!" Armin called out as you as you got a shock remembering the bed still had blood.

"Yes?!"

"I got your food here and you need to take a painkiller if you have cramps."

Opening the door in your towel and panty you look at him shocked.

"The sheet. I washed it so don't worry about it just change and I'll get you a heat pack." He said walking away.

"Thank you!" You smiled changing before you headed to the lounge. He was sitting there scowling at his phone.

"What's wrong?" You asked cupping his cheeks with your palms and he just rested on them making you internally swoon.

"These people at work and their usual antics, not finishing projects, asking me for help when in a corner, deadlines." He frowned making you kiss his nose as his smile returned.

"What do you want to do today I'm free." You said beginning to eat as he leaned back into his chair.

"I'm not sure, Eren wanted me to tag a long with him to some hiking place but I said I'd ask you since you might have university work." He answered.

"I finished it last night so I think I can tag a long." You said enthusiastically.

"Great. Just remember your things."

"What things- oh!"

Heading out of the house you both held hands only letting go when you got in the car.

"So I heard Armin's back with Y/N." Connie said spilling the tea.

"Wait they broke up?" Sasha asked munching on a granola bar.

"They've been on an off since second year at university." Eren clarified as the group made sounds of realisation.

"Hey Eren!" Armin greeted with your hand in his as you both walked.

"Hey Armin! Come on." Eren waved them over as Armin followed.

"Guys let's split into two groups!" Marco suggested."

"Yeah! I'm keeping Mikasa." Sasha said knowing she was safe with the strongest in their friend group.

"Yeah if you fall she'll pick you up like you're a twig." Connie laughed as Sasha rolled her eyes.

"I'm not a twig."

Eventually the groups were set with Connie, Sasha, Marco and Jean in one group and Mikasa, Eren, Armin and you.

You ended up having a conversation with Mikasa about her Gym vlogs and how she became famous on social media as a 'muscle mommy'. However, you felt eyes on you constantly and you knew who it was no doubt.

"Hey Y/N what happened between you and Armin?" She asked softly as you merely waved it off.

"We were in a bad place but now we made up."

'Till the next break up' you wanted to add but for some reason this time felt...different. You weren't sure what it was but it was different.

There was a change possibly but you could never be sure because it always starts like this. You get together he's extremely happy and kind and as time passes he becomes worse and learns how to hide his bad side better, for longer.

(Flashback)

"Armin!" You called looking for him around the campus only to see Eren and Mikasa alone.

"Hey Eren, hey Mikasa. Have you seen Armin?" You asked as they nodded directing you to the library, an obvious choice.

You walked in seeing Armin and Annie arguing and sighed knowing it was another one of those days.

"Stop treating her like your goddamn property!"

"I don't do that! I love her and treat wonderfully!"

"Yeah right! All you do is control and manipulate her."

"Guys! Please stop fighting." You yelled running up to them as Armin glared back at Annie before walking up to you.

"Hey darling." He hugged you giving you a peck on your lips before he began talking. "Look Y/N Annie may seem all nice but she's not all she appears to be honestly. I knew something was off about her but now I'm sure of it. Maybe you should just be a little cautious of the things she does." Making you look behind to see Annie gone.

"What do you mean Armin we've been friends forever." You answered as if she was the most harmless person.

"Mikasa even said she was quite rude to the other people at the gym and they got into a fight about it."

"She's always been like that."

"I know but what if she decides she doesn't like me and starts telling you horrible things about me? I can't bare the thought of you not liking me!" He explained as you cupped his cheeks.

"She already doesn't like you Armin and I haven't changed my opinion about you have I? Come on...I love you okay, I take my opinion on you from how you interact with me so don't worry okay." You answered as he pulled you into a deep mind numbing kiss.

Sliding his tongue between your lips as he pulled you even closer opening his eyes a centimetre, making contact with that angry best friend of yours making him smirk as he ran his hands along your sides kissing you hungrier as you released a soft moan making his smirk wider as he chuckled seeing that hindrance run off in anger.
